Chapter Two

Niall's P.O.V

I walked around looking for Louis, and I found him hiding behind a rack of hoodies with Zayn. "Harry's looking for you Zayn". I said

"shhhh don't tell him, I'm going to go hide in Areopostale" and with that, he left. Louis stood up and looked at me

"Niall, why didn't you go to the beach "?

"Well Kate wanted to stay home and then go to the mall.."

"Ooooh did you and Kate make out?" he teased.

" we did not! And all we did was talk and Kate told me she liked my accent, she thought it was quite charming!"

"Yes but you wish you could've kissed her!"

"Louis be quiet"! People are going to start to notice"..

Louis smiled evilly "Do you like her"? I thought about this and came to a conclusion, "In the words of a song, I wish that was me, but Louis; a girl as gorgeous as Kate, she's taken..." I mumbled, Louis patted my back

"If she stole your heart Ni, be the thief that steals hers", then he sang Harry's part to one of are songs

"Imma thief, Imma thief" so I played along

"you can call me a thief" I sang

"and I'm only here, cause you stole my heart". He cut it short

"Louis, I'm telling you, she's a beautiful women, but a girl like her is taken".

"I don't know, Niall, but its never to late to tell her how you feel"... That's when out of no where Kate comes running over to me, she hides behind me "Kate, what are you doing?" Louis asked.

"Harry found Zayn and they started chasing me, I'm not one for playing Mall tag." she said. She was breathing quietly against the back of my neck, sending shivers down my spine... Would this be the right time to tell her? Or would she think I'm moving to fast? I mean I just met her, and would it be weird if I was dating Harry's sister?

Harry's P.O.V

I accidentally pushed Zayn down and we laughed,

"Harry do you think I could maybe take Kate out on a date?" he asked,

"Aww arent you the gentleman, asking her brother for permission?" I teased. He looked serious

"Harry, I mean it, you gotta admit, your sister is hot."

I tensed up "I don't think my sister would appreciate being called "Hot" I mean plus you're a little late, I think she likes Niall, she just won't admit it..."

"so may I? I promise Harry, you know me, when I want something I get it... "

"Zayn, Kate has asthma, I don't want her around cigarettes".. I made up an excuse.

"Harry, I won't take out a cigarette the whole time, I promise". I was beginning to give in

"It's not up to me, you have to ask her.." Zayn smiled

"It won't be awkward for me to date your sister?"

"I didn't say that! I mean your a good friend Zayn, but I do not control who my sister loves". That's when I spotted Niall looking at Kate, he seemed to really like her, maybe I was making a mistake letting Zayn take her out... After all Kate is my sister, isn't it my job to protect her?

Kate's P.O.V

I starting laughing as I asked Louis why he like suspenders and he laughed loudly, and winced... I don't remember why I'm so scared of loud noises but I always seem to remember things from when I was little and was in the orphanage and sometimes the memories are bad... I always wonder where I'd be if I was never taken out of that place...
