Chapter 10

KUMORI

It was 7 p.m. when the ending party started, natapos ang last game and awarding ng 3 p.m. giving enough time for students to prepare for tonight's party. If you ask me, I think an ending party isn't really necessary like my dinner tonight with Shun which is completely unnecessary.

"Hi Kumori, you look gorgeous" sabi nito, i rolled my eyes at him. I'm wearing a simple dress provided by Fumiko, she knew about Shun and I's dinner and went screaming about it announcing it to the whole school. Eiji and Aki were furious for I don't know and care about reason.

"Shut up and let's get food already. I'm starving" sabi ko, he held out his elbow like he was about to escort me to the buffet area but I pushed it away and walked, then he pouted. What the hell is wrong with him?

"Wait up, Kumori!" sabi niya at sinundan ako.

The whole field was transformed into a huge party area, you can find the buffet area in the left side while the table where everywhere circling a medium-sized stage in the center. Others where eating already while others where chatting from corners and in their chairs.

"I'll get our food Kumori, you can sit down" sabi ni Shun. I nodded my head as an answer and sat in the table near.

I was observing the area and almost 20 minutes had passed and Shun still hasn't come back. I was about to look for him when my phone rang.

"What?" I boredly said after I answered.

"Kumori-chan! Eiji and Aki took Shun! I saw them pulling him out of the buffet area!" sabi ni Fumiko, I massaged my temples, ended the call and stood up.

I'm so gonna kill both of them if something happens to Shun

"Let me go! Magdi-dinner lang naman kami ni Kumori eh" rinig ko mula sa likod ng building ng infirmary na medjo malayo sa field.

"Shut up! May pa-dinner dinner ka pa jan! Tch Uunahan mo pa si Eiji!" it was Akihiro's voice.

"Manahimik ka din jan, Aki! I didn't even agree in this stupid plan. Mapilit ka lang" and that was Eiji's voice.

"Let me go already dudes" sabi ni Shun, seems like he's not scared of them. He must've realized that these dorks aren't really that intimidating

"Let him go" singit ko sa usapan nila. Their eyes widen in the sight of me. I glared at both Aki and Eiji

"Why are you glaring at me? It was Aki's plan!" pagra-rason nito. Binatukan ko silang dalawa.

"I'll deal with you two tomorrow. Now, let him go. We're still going to have dinner and don't you dare interfere with us. I'm starving to death!" inis na sabi ko, wala naman sila nagawa at pinakawalan si Shun.

"Tsk. That hurts" sabi ni Shun while massaging his wrist that has a mark from the rope, yeah, tinali siya nila Aki.

"But Kumori, don't have dinn—" he zipped his mouth after I glared at him. Pasaway na Akihiro. Tch

"Those guys were nuts, are they that protective to you?" tanong ni Shun, we're back at the party. Tapos na din kami kumain and now we're just sitting trying to digest everything we ate.

"They're dorks, don't believe in everything they say" sabi ko

"You know what? I don't know why pero hindi na ako natatakot sakanila" he confessed, "I actually thought that them kidnapping me was hilarious" then he laughed. Isa pang baliw to. Tch

"And you? You're great Kumori, intimidating and distant at times but nice and great" sabi nito, I looked at him and he was smiling. Weirdo.

"Stop saying such weird and stupid stuff, Shun" I said and rolled my eyes at him, he just chuckled

"I never thought that Kumori Shibuya was actually talkative too" sabi nito, kumunot ang noo ko sa sinabi. But yeah, i wasn't really talkative at least not talkative to people I'm not close too.

"I'm not talkative, I just happen to have the energy to have a chit chat with you. You should be honored" I said, he smirked and said, "I am" I grinned and his face became stiff. Dunno why he's always like that, i should get used to it since ganyan naman siya ever since we started practicing for our routine.

"Hey Kumori" someone said, I lifted my head up to see who was it and I saw Yoshiro smiling at me. He was always this friendly to everyone.

"Hey Yosh" bati ni Shun when I didn't answer, call me rude but the two other people behind his back irks me.

"Congratulations by the way, ang galing niyong dalawa kanina" saad pa nito, he was still smiling from ear to ear making me wonder if he ever gets tired of smiling. He has that big-bro type of personality always composed and calm, being the much mature one. I actually and secretly admire his personality, don't take it the wrong way tho. Tch

"Thanks" Shun proudly said, Yoshiro earned a small nod to me and he smiled even more because of that. My gaze went to the other two, Ronin was glaring at me which I got used too since he's been doing that since I don't care when while Kuro has a blank face, he looked bored which was a good thing because he wasn't bothering me. Good thing he never brought up the topic of us getting lost, I'd like to keep that a secret between us because I don't want people to get the wrong idea.

"We'll get going then, bye" paalam ni Yosh.

"Woah, now they are intimidating except for Yoshiro. By the way, why is Ronin always glaring at you?" inosenteng tanong ni Shun, he looked like a cute little puppy asking its owner. Meh

What's with the description? Smh.

"Dunno, don't care"

Party was over and the whole time si Shun lang ang kasama ko, Fumiko was able to keep the two idiots—Eiji and Aki in tailing us. Shun was actually a great companion, he sometimes say stupid things but I guess that's just him. I didn't got bored with him around but I guess he got bored with me? But who cares?

"Are you sure you don't want me to take you home? Gabi na Mori" he said, we were at the gate of Daku High, everyone was going home and he keeps insisting to take me home which I strongly dislike.

"I can handle myself, Shun. And what's with the nickname?" he smiled at me displaying his perfect white teeth.

"I heard Fumiko called you Mori-chan, I find it cute. Now I'll be calling you Mori, you should call me Shuni" I rolled my eyes, there he goes again saying stupid stuff.

"Whatever, I'm going home" I was about to leave when he grabbed my wrist. "I hope you see me as a new friend Mori" he said, there was a glint of hope in his eyes. He was a transferee sophomore here in Daku High and this was the first time we ever talked to each other, it wouldn't hurt to be friends with him right? I don't mind either.
"Yeah whatever" he smiled like a fool and screamed 'yes!', he's exaggerating.

"Thank you! Get home safe Mori, I'll see you on monday!" he bid his goodbye and left.

Another weird addition to my circle of friends.
