I was almost caught. My mom kept giving me puzzled looks during dinner. I couldn't get to meet her eyes. She knew her daughter and I knew, she knew. As I served ice cream, Neil refused and moved to the bedroom to work on his laptop. My mom gathered the things on the table and I set the dishwasher up. "Ishani why did you lie to him?" She asked. I looked up, "what do you mean maa?" "You know what I mean. Let's talk tomorrow." She hugged me and went back to her room. I cleared the table and sat with the tub of ice cream. I felt ashamed for lying. Neil never expected much and I could have told him the truth I refused to. Maybe my ego was a bit more than I acknowledged.

I went to the room and Neil looked up. He looked dreamy in those glasses he wore while on his laptop. "Mom daughter take already over?" He asked puzzled. "We shall continue them over chai tomorrow." I smiled and went to change. I wore an exceptionally sexy nightgown to thank Neil. The midnight blue silk number ended below my hips and had the deepest possible neckline that plunged till my navel giving me the sexiest cleavage ever. I walked into the room acting cool and suddenly Neil yelped. "Oyi!" He shut his laptop loudly. "All okay Neil?" I asked as he grabbed my wrist. "You just flashed Rianna!" "I what?" I chocked on my spit. And I coughed and coughed. As Neil was rubbing my back the door opened with a boom and my mom ran in. "Ishani you okay?" She then saw my clothes or rather the lack of it and shreiked, covering her eyes. I quickly covered myself in the duvet. "I'm okay mom" my face was covered in sweat and tears. This coughing fit couldn't have been more embarrassing. My mom looked at me and Neil was trying hard not to laugh and I could hear Rianna laughing in the background from the laptop.

This circus was my life only if I wasn't the one getting embarrassed. "Good night beta. Umm get back to whatever you were doing" my mom said embarrassingly and walked out closing the door behind her. Neil was laughing holding his tummy. I opened the laptop to see Rianna and Andy laughing themselves off the sofa. "Ishani you are crazy!" Rianna said I peeked out of the blanket. "Did Andy see me too?" He nodded. "Fucking hell. Good night guys. I disconnected their call and rolled over to my side with the duvet and without looking at Neil shut the lights out.
