Eeepp! I'm back.

Little did I know that it would be so easy to get Neil ready to compete. But he forgot how much of a fighter I am, especially when contests are involved. As the beautiful time with mom in Singapore ended, I started gymming more and also preparing food. Neil was happy tasting all weird concoctions and honestly a few bad burnt goods too.

"Ish, please be prepared. Next week a convention of sorts it happening at the business centre at the Grand Capethowne Hotel. Come with me a few times, maybe?" I nodded, chewing the sinful gooey brookies he got for me.

Brookies are much like me. They are a mix of brownie and cookies. They clearly couldn't decide which side they belong on and ended up being a bit of both. Just like I am. A part of me is sure all I wanted to play was Neil's wifey and at the same time I want to be independently working again.

An idea popped up, "Neil, maybe I can handle the work at the convention?" A week of work meant Neil would call me for bits and the whole week shall be depressing for me. "Ish you never understand how my work, well works," he said looking up from his dinner of chana dal infused with broccoli. It was a fusion I wanted to try but it wasn't the tastiest dish on the block. Hence I was having the sinful dinner with a glass of milk as Neil decided not to waste food. His tastebuds might be dead actually!

"Neil, I can learn. Besides I have one round of our contest this week. Then we are free!" I couldn't believe I was begging to understand his old school business.

"Maybe I could be your PR?" Wow! My question made me feel so much better. Their would be work and dressing in office wear. I do need work wear clothes too. I thought, when I saw Neil staring at me. "Did I say this aloud?" His expressions anwered my question. "No freaking way ish. You don't have a work permit and beside Rihanna is coming too so you are free to pursue your umm.. contest skills," his answer scared me."what's the first task ish? What do you have to do?" He asked to cover the fact he denied me a job. "Apparently it is something about cleaning the kitchen. Not that I'm cheating. But I heard the discussion.." I had carefully listed to Mrs Sahni complain that sewing was getting repetitive and she has suggested this one.
