(Gladion's PoV)
"Ugh." I grunt, as Silvally rolls on top of me.
I push him off and stare up at the ceiling.
"Then... there's Gladion, APSilvally. When I first saw him, I said, 'Well, golly.' "
I feel my face heat up, as I shake my head harshly.
Dumbass, dumbass, dumbass! It was just a song! You weren't even supposed to hear it!
I get up, getting dressed in my usual attire. I look in the bathroom mirror, fixing my hair. The light blush is still noticeable on my face.
Idiot... A girl can complement you without meaning anything.
I hold my face, trying to rub the blush off.
"Vally!" Silvally shouts from the other room.
I enter the room to find him staring at the door. I open it, and he runs off, probably to get food or something. I look to my right, seeing Selene at Eclipse's door about to knock.
"What are you up to?" I ask.
"Oh." She turns to face me. "Gladion, do you know if she's up?"
"No, how should I know?" I question, raising an eyebrow. "And, why do you need her anyways?"
"Hhm~? Well, I think it's about time we had that battle." She says determined.
I sigh. "Selene, I told you-"
"You told me later, and it's the next day now!" She shouts.
"Selene," I sigh again.
Eclipse opens the door to her room, stepping out. "It's ok, Gladion."
"You're up!" Selene shouts happily.
"Yeah, Tales won't let me sleep any later than eight unless there's a good reason." Eclipse explains, smiling awkwardly. "He really is like a mom."
"I wasn't expecting you to wake up til later. Now, I'll be able to show you around Alola a bit more." I smile.
She nods. "Oh, is there time for a six on six battle?" She asks, then looks at Selene. "Because, I'm looking forward to battling you, Champion." She reasons, a determined look appearing on her face.
"Fine~. But, battle out front; there's more room." I say, fake complaining.
The girls smile widely.
"Come on guys!" Eclipse yells to her pokemon.
"Mismagius!" Magius yells.
"I couldn't care less that I haven't brushed my hair yet! We get to battle!" She shouts.
"Umbree~!" The black pokemon runs out of the room happily.
"Ninetales nine." Tales says to a frowning Magius, leaving the room as well.
All of her pokemon come out of the room. Her Magius floats a brush along with him, brushing it through her hair.
"Ow~! Magius, I'm tinder headed~. Stop~. I can do it myself; I just don't want to right now~." She whines, blushing from embarrassment.
I chuckle, taking the brush from where it's floating. "How 'bout you battle, and I brush her hair for you later?"
Magius glances at her face that seems to have gained a few shades of red. "Mag mag." He says, nodding and smirking a little.
"I hate you so much~..." She squeaks quietly in embarrassment.
Selene chuckles, smirking as well. We all head outside, including Lillie, Elio, and Hau. Selene and Eclipse stand opposite of each other.
