(Eclipse's PoV)

I run outside as my dad comes home from Dewford Town. He's been gone for a few days now. He went to learn how to fish, so that he could have fun finding water pokemon.

"Daddy! Daddy!" I shout.

I stop and gasp, holding my face happily. "Daddy, there's a puppy following you!" I shout.

My dad looks confused as he looks behind him. "So there is. That's a Poochyena. It must have seen me on my way back." He smiles.

He crouches to pet the pokemon, but it runs over and hides behind me. I giggle in amusement. My dad smiles, standing back up. He takes a poke-ball out of his bag and tosses it to me. I catch it and look up at him confused.

"He seems to like you." He nods to the poochyena.

I smile widely. "You're saying i can have my first pokemon!?"

He nods. I jump up and down happily before facing the gray furball. I hold the poke-ball out to him.

"Look, we can be best friends." I chime.

His face twists into disgust as he looks at the poke-ball.

I frown a little. "Do you not want to be friends?"

The Poochyena's eyes widen, and he gives a few barks before pressing the button on the front of poke-ball. I smile happily, as the poke-ball clicks. Shortly after the pokemon pops back out, running in circles around me.

I open my eyes groggily. Mightyena stretches and yawns, his head resting on my stomach. I sigh, freeing my hand from the covers and petting my Umbreon who's on the other side of me. Braviary is snuggled up in a "nest" of different sheets. Ninetales enters the room, walking over and pulling the string for the blinds. Light floods the room, reflecting off Ninetales's white and bright blue fur. He yips a few times. I pull the covers over my face.

"Nine, nine ninetales." He says unhappily.

"But, I don't want to get up." I complain.

"Banette!" Another one of my pokemon yells.

"Ah!" I sit up and turn quickly to see Banette floating and snickering, probably having come through the wall. "Hell, don't do that!"

Mightyena and Umbreon have fallen to the floor, both giving a small yelp. Mightyena is now glaring at Banette, while Umbreon shakes it off. Magius floats in, levitating a plate of waffles and a cup of tea.

I raise an eyebrow at him. "Since when do you cook?"

He rolls his eyes, setting the food on the side table next to my bed.

I glance at it. "It's not burnt, is it?"

The purple, cat-like ghost glares at me. I chuckle.

"Of course not." I laugh some more before stopping and looking back at him. "Poisoned?"

"Magius!" He shouts

"Ok! Ok!" I laugh. "You know I'm joking."

He rolls his eyes, starting to float away.

"Wait, could you float my laptop over to me? I'm too lazy to get up." I say.

He sighs, and my laptop floats over to me.

"Thank you." I say.

"Magius." He grumbles before leaving the room.

Ninetales follows after him, probably to supervise him. He is the baby of the group after all. Though, he's practically a young adult now. Banette stops floating over the end of the bed, falling and bouncing a few times. He snickers again. I roll my eyes, taking a sip of the tea.
