3 Days Later

Sam, Dean, and Cas has been gathering information from people, including attempting to track down the phone Callie had called you on. You were becoming hopeful.
That day, you were in your office, tracking down the names of the people on the boys' list.
You notice Cas at the doorway.
"What's up?" You ask, not looking up from your computer.
He walks in and sits in front of you.
"We need to talk." He gives you a meaningful look.
You feel your stomach turn slightly. His tone, it was serious.
  "Y-...yeah?"
"I think, for the sake of finding our daughter, I should go look for Callie." He says. You adjust yourself in your seat.
"Well- yeah, we're all already looking for her-"
"No, Y/n, I mean... I need to go out there, and find her. Not gather information, or make any pit stops. I don't know how much longer it will be before something happens to the both of us... Mentally"
  "Then I'll come."
"No you won't-"
  "Cas!"
"Y/n it's not up for negotiation!" He stands up. You open your mouth, beginning to spit out a tirade, but nothing manages to escape.
"Cas..." you voice breaks, you speak softer than before.
"The sooner I leave the quicker I'll be back." He begins to walk to the door, you follow him all the way to the front of the house.
"Castiel!" You say his name. His attention grabbing, only-used-in-serious-situations, full name. He stops. Turning around to face you, you reach your hand out to him.
"... Please. Don't leave me too." A tear drips down your cheek. You can see the sorrow in his face as he walks up to you and takes your hand. You pull him into a hug.
"Y/n, you know that I love you..." His voice rings through your ears.
"Castiel... I don't want you to die, again. Please... don't leave." You you grip his jacket. You can feel his hands hold you tighter.
"This is what it costs to get her home." He says. He pulls away and places his hand on your cheek.
"I have enough information to work off of. I can't bring my phone in case they try to track me... Y/n I'll be okay. And I'll bring Callie home."
You wipe your eyes and kiss him.
"Y/n... I need to go." He looks at you. You sniffle and bite your lip sadly.
  "I love you."
"And I will always love you." He says, and like that he flew away, the flap of his wings leaving you alone at your front door, sobbing as you fell to your knees.

Later that evening, after a long day of contemplating what to do with your reclusive self, you decide to head out to a bar.
Your daughter was missing, your husband off the grid to find her, you needed something to wipe it all away... and what better way could a Winchester do that than get completely shit-faced.
You arrive at the bar, slumping yourself inside and onto a seat at the counter.
"Just give me your strongest." You lay your head in your hand as you say to the bartender.
"Rough day?" He looks at you, pouring your drink into a glass.
"Is it that obvious?" You half grin. He shrugs, sliding your glass over.
"I know depressed customer when I see one. What happened, bad break-up?" He chuckles. You sigh.
"I wish it were something that simple." You frown slightly, swirling your glass around a little before tasting it. You feel the burn down your throat as you sip.
"Yikes. So, really bad day... Listen, I know I'm just the bartender but, if you need someone to talk to-"
"Oh my god please. For the first time, I think I could use a chat with someone who isn't in the family." You scratch your head and laugh a little.
He holds out his hand.
"Well for starters, the name's Joshua." He grins, you shake his hand.
"Y/n..."
"Ok, well riddle me this Y/n, why are you here, chatting with 'someone who isn't in the family'?" He mocks you.
You laugh to yourself as you overlook how shitty your life was at the moment.
"Well, Joshua, my daughter... She's-Uh... she is missing." You say. His jaw drops.
"That's your daughter?! That stories been passing through here quicker than the election finals." He says in a loss for words.
"I'm so sorry." His jaw still wide open, You grimace jokingly.
"If I had a dime for every time people have said that to me in the past three days I'd be Queen B rich." You finish the last of your drink.
"Your sure in a good mood for someone in your position."
"Well, moping around isn't going to find my little girl." You say, passing the glass back to him.
"I need to get home before I stay here and drink all night, though, that was my original plan..." you contemplate. After thanking Joshua, you make your way back to your car. You look at your eyes in the mirror, they were baggy and dark. You slap the wheel and run your hands through hair angrily, looking up at the stars through windshield.
"Cas, babe... Please stay safe. I love you, and I need you... but I know you need to do this." You say, starting the car.
