Just Say It Chapter 10 "The Defeated"

[Holy crap! I'm up to chapter 10 already?! Damn... That seemed to go by so fast. XP This story is no where near finished. I wanna add some more drama inky it so... Grab a tissue box cause you're going to need them. The damn feels... ;^; But anyways, here's chapter 10! :3 ]

Eren missed school that entire week. This incident had put him in a really bad mood. His old habit of cutting himself came back. He was only clean for about 2 years. He started cutting when his mom passed away and his dad left him and Mikasa for some big job thing over in Germany.

Levi noticed Eren's absence. He began to grow really concerned for the boy. He called him at least three times a day. But, Eren just ignored him. On Saturday morning, Eren finally picked up.

"Hello?"
"Eren? Are you ok?"
"Hi...Levi...I...guess I'm ok."
"Can you come over please?"
"I don't want to..."
"Why not?"
"I just don't want to..."
"No. You're coming over. I want to talk to you. I want to help you."
"....."
"Please Eren."
"....fine. Give me an hour to get ready."
"Ok. I'll see you then."

Like Eren promised, he was over within an hour. He wore gray shorts, red sneakers and his red sweatshirt. He showered before he left and he finally ate before he got there. Levi was waiting anxiously at the door for him. He brought Eren inside and sat down with him on the couch.

"Eren. You look terrible." The short boy said while examining him.
"Thanks..." He whispered.
"Please tell me. What's wrong?" Levi asked cautiously.
"Nothing, Levi..."
"Please tell me." Levi grabbed Eren's arm gently and Eren winced in pain. Levi stared at his hurt expression for a moment before lifting up the sleeve of his sweatshirt.
"Please stop, Levi."
He didn't stop. He pulled the sleeve up to Eren's shoulder and examined his arm.

Fresh wounds covered it.

"Eren...why did you do this to yourself?" Levi asked while running his fingers gently across the cuts. Eren closed his eyes in pain.
"Because Mina died. I-I feel...so bad... I n-never got to say...g-goodbye to her." He said while beginning to sob.
"I'm sure that she knows, Eren." Levi said while making circles in the boy's hand.
"K-knows what?"
"That...you cared so much about her. That you would do anything to see her smile. And I'm sure she's fine and happy with it."
Eren hugged Levi and began sobbing into his shoulder.
"Shh... It's ok. Everything's going to be alright." Levi whispered while running a hand through his hair. 'Please stop crying...please stop hurting yourself...please Eren.' He thought.
"A-are y-you s-sure?" The brunette asked while looking at him.
"Yes I'm sure." The shorter teen said while wiping his tears away. He showed a small smile. Eren did his best to show one, but he ended up failing.

Levi's POV
Please smile. Please laugh. Do these things for me Eren. Or you're going to make me just as depressed as you are. Please...I love you.

Normal POV
The next action between the two caught them by surprise.

Levi leaned in a kissed Eren.
He kissed Eren. Not rough, but gently.
He pulled back and looked at Eren. The boy's big green eyes stared at him, wide eyed. After realizing what happened, Levi stood up.
"I'm sorry." He quickly muttered before heading towards the stairs.
"L-Levi..!" Eren called after him. Levi just ignored and began to run up the steps.
"Levi!" He yelled again. Levi went into his room and locked himself in there. Eren reached for the doorknob and turned it. 'Locked. God damn it.' He said to himself angrily. The brunette slammed his fist on the door.
"Levi! Talk to me! Levi!"
No response.

All he heard was something metallic dropping to the floor and a low groan.
