Just Say It Chapter 12 "Goodbye"

Eren and Levi woke up around 7:00 that night. They stared into each other's eyes and smiled.
"How was your nap?" Levi asked.
"It was nice. I was all nice and warm because of you. You know, for a short person you've got a lot of warmth radiating from your body." Eren said with a smile. Levi glared at him angrily. The brunette bit his bottom lip and hid back underneath the covers. "Sorry." He said. Levi smiled slightly and ruffled his hair. "It's ok."

Both boys got out of the bed and shivered. They were so used to being pressed up against each other for body heat. Eren walked back over to Levi and hugged him.
"What Eren?" He asked while trying to put his shorts on.
"I-I'm cold." He whispered into the shorter boy's ear. Levi sighed and dropped his shorts on the ground. He turned around to face Eren, and pecked him on the cheek. "You warmer now?" He asked. "Yeah. Thank you." Eren said, burying his face in Levi's neck.
"Come on Eren. Let's go downstairs." He said while pushing the boy off of him.
"Fine." Eren pouted. Both boys got changed and ran downstairs. They saw Erwin and Armin watching them, with slight smirks in their faces.
"What are you smirking about?" Levi asked while grabbing some Coke from the kitchen.
"Oh nothing nothing." Armin said trying to hide a laugh. Eren raised an eyebrow in suspicion. Erwin looked at the two of them.

"So, did you fuck each other's brains out?" He asked slyly.

Levi spit out his Coke in the sink and blushed madly. Eren buried his face in his hands. "N-no. We didn't." Levi said looking at Erwin.
"Alright. Then explain to me why your clothes were on the floor." The tall blonde said. Both boys blushed more. "W-we began kissing each other and things got a little heated." Levi said. Erwin and Armin laughed, leaving the other two boys blushing.

All four of them spent the night playing video games, having snacks and exchanging pecks.

Armin blurted out a random question. "So, are you two together now?" He asked. "We aren't. Eren's still trying to figure things out." Levi said looking over at the blondes. "Oh ok. Just wondering." Armin said back.

Eren and Armin left around 11:30 that night. The next day, the two spent their time together doing homework.

Monday morning finally approached. Mikasa had to go to school early to help set up for the pep rally later that day. So, Eren had to drive to school by himself. He started the car's engine and received a text message from Levi.

'Hey. Meet me out front of the auditorium when you get to school. :)'

Eren texted him back.

'Kk. See ya soon!'

The brunette pulled out of the driveway and began heading down the busy road to school.

BAM!!!

Levi was beginning to grow impatient. It was 7:25. Homeroom started in 5 minutes. Eren was never this late. He noticed Mikasa walking through the hallway and called out to her. "Mikasa! Where's your brother at?" He asked a little worried. "Don't know. He said he was driving to school today. He should've been here by now." She said crossing her arms. Out of the corner of their eyes, they could see Armin and Erwin running towards them.
"Levi!" Armin yelled.
"What is it Armin?" He asked looking at the petite blonde.
"It's Eren...

...he's gotten into a car accident."
