"No worries, I'll go find him." There was no sound of any tension or fright within Davies voice, Elizabeth's face was growing oddly pale as Adrian grew red,
"I guess that works." Elizabeth said as she chucked him her flashlight, Adrian turned on the last one they had left,
"I'll be back, it won't take long to find him. Knowing Dana he probably went to check out some of the other rooms or something." Davie said as he did a little boy scout salute and started off down the hallway pass the turn, as he walked the small chatter from Elizabeth and Adrian faded and only bits and pieces of what they were saying could be heard echoing around the room, being the ambitious little brat he was, Davie took out his camera, if anything were to remotely happen there was no reason to catch it and edit it into the video when they returned from their trip.
"Yo, Dana.. this isn't really funny. We need to get set to film the next scene.." Several seconds after the sentence what he said was still echoing off the walls, "What the-" The window was closed, Dana had done his job after all so why didn't he rejoin the group? Had Davie passed him on his way to the window, impossible. His flashlight filled the hall he was in with unnecessary white light. With a slight rocking on his feet the boy continued down the other hallway that branched off the one he was already in as he continued to search, he'd pop his head into rooms that were ill placed but they were either empty or the door was locked.
About eight feet away from the end of the hallway by now and the light started to pick up on the wall, Davie raised his nose as he realized that the wooden floors with long green carpets began to fade into a stained red,
"What an ugly design choice." He said in a sarcastic tone as he filmed his facial expression o=into the camera before pointing the view down to the floor where it could be seen that the floor wasn't a faded red, no, it was filling with red. Whatever the murky substance was it was filling into the creases between the wood into the floorboards, pushing his camera closer as he crouched down, Davie also pulled his flashlight down just to see the what it was,
"You think someone died?" He said in an oblivious tone as he laughed to himself and stuck one of his fingers into it before dragging it onto the wall,
"Ew, it's kinda warm. Do you gu-" He cut himself off as his voice began to crack and tremble, he had finally looked up and dragged the light and camera along up to the wall with his eyes as he stood there, crouched on the ground in nothing but pure and absolute terror, his knees buckled and his head sunk into his shoulders as a failed scream tried to leave his now parched throat.
Above him sat a body of a dark haired male with olive oil skin, his eyes were wide open and only the whites could be seen, under his head sat his neck that had something sticking out of it. A coat hanger. The chest of the male was ripped open and the guts of the person dripped from the body but never really hit the floor, his heart was not moving at all and his skin was tainted white and blue...
"D-d-d-d-d-dan-n-a...." Davie said with a stutter as he felt as if he was going to hurl, as if he was under a spell his limbs began to work again and the boy stood up, lagged as he looked a the horrific sight in front of him, then book it down the hallway, his shoes squeaking against the wood floors before they grew loose and fell off of him, the noise of his feet echoed like drums around him as he heard his heartbeat in his ears and felt it in his throat,
"Elizabeth Adrian please!" He shouted in a hopeless voice as he began to hear their chatter pick up around him the the halls once more, he felt instant relief but was still drowning in the guilt,
"We haven't moved what could you want." Elizabeth said back in a voice just above her speaking voice, as the boy skidded into the room he almost instant dived into his luggage and began tearing through the little he had brought. His camera was discarded on the floor, the lense broke on impact,
