Korinna's Point Of View

I snuggle closer into Andrea grateful that she'd managed to carry me to my own chambers and stayed the night with me after I'd exhausted myself from crying. Her face looked to be at peace as she sleeps. "She's so beautiful and I am so lucky." I think to myself. I whimper and let out a soft scream of pain. Andrea wakes up immediately and holds me tightly.

"Kori, what's wrong? Are you okay? What's happening?" She asks. I let out another howl of pain.

"D-doctor. Get me to the doctor." I whimper through my pain. Ten minutes later, another howl of pain escaped my lips.

"Oh shit! I think you're in labor, Kor!" Andrea says throwing aside the thick comforters and throwing on her shirt and pants from yesterday and runs with me in nothing but my robe to the pack doctor.

Andrea's Point Of View

I knew instantly when I pulled up to the packhouse of the North American Royal Family that my mate was inside. I just couldn't get to her through the crowd of people. When I found her, I realized why her scent smelled off. Lavendar, vanilla, strawberries, and a strange musk. Then I realize why when she faces me. "You're pregnant." I'd said. She immediately crumpled into tears. Her body temperature instantly dropped and I knew that I had to do something so I'd used my skin to warm her.

Now my precious little mate is in labor and we will have our pup. Whether it's a boy or a girl, the baby will be loved. But if it's a boy, he will immediately go into training to be king at the age of 5. The pack doctor examines her as the contractions start getting closer together.

"She's dilated to 5 already. Give it about 15 minutes and she'll be ready to start pushing. We have to inject her with wolfsbane though to keep her from shifting." The pack doctor says as I nuzzle into my mate trying to resist ripping the doctor's throat out as Korinna screams out from pain of labor and the needles in her arm.

Fifteen minutes later, the pack doctor tells her to start pushing as she's finally reached the required 10 increments. I hold tightly to her as her screams pierce through the hospital. I can smell her parents in the waiting room. Her eyes begin to glow thirteen hours into the delivery as the doctor smiles triumphantly as the baby comes out.

"It's a girl!" She says swaddling it in a thin hospital blanket and handing her to me. At my confused look, she explains, "It's twins. There's still another baby in there." An hour later, another baby wails into the air.

I smile brightly at Korinna. "We have twins. A girl and a boy." I tell her as the doctor hands her our son. Our daughter opens her eyes and I gasp seeing her eyes are purple and his eyes are gold. I look to the doctor for an explanation but she shakes her head. "We can explain."
