Shit its Monday already. My Sunday was a horrible day. I woke up after sleeping on the floor to the Alpha getting in my face about not cleaning up last night. It earned me 20 lashes. My chocolate skins is angry and oozing blood. Adom came down to help me with my bandages. I spent the rest of the day cleaning the house and going in a run. The whole run Blade was upset that he didnt get to see the she wolf again. I passed back out after dinner that I did clean up.

Chance woke me up with a beating this morning. A tradition he has started when he comes back to the pack house angry about school. I got tired of it so I don't fight back anymore. Only two more years of this torture. Its 5 in the morning and most males are out on the morning run while I get things ready here. After my shower I lean against the vanity and check myself over. My chocolate skin shimmers as water runs off my body, my close shaved black hair is still short enough to show some of my training scars. I have a love hate relationship with my body. Its lean and has some muscle but its nowhere near where I want to be. Im not allowed to train with other pack members, most of my muscle comes from helping Delta Mashe with the pack bakery. I do all the heavy lifting for her. My back is still angry and I have huge bruises on my ribs from this morning beating. I can't take it anymore. I swear Im going to fight back some day. After carefully wrapping my chest I slide my arms into a tee-shirt, pull on some jeans, loop a belt, and tie up my boots. My dads leather jacket is the last part to my look along with my moms gold chain. Im going to see them after school today.

I made omelets for breakfast today and clean up in record time. My run to school was normal but my bag hurt my back so much I ran with it off my front. Maybe I can run off into the human world and join the service? I could make it. People from my old pack, the Hellfire pack, did it all the time. In fact you were honored if you did. Dad did it then when he returned he became beta. I just have to make it through the day.

Entering school I see Echo my best friend. Shes another omega like me. She's shy, normally hiding in a huge hoodie, with bangs that cover her face, and a beanie on her head. I think she likes me but Im not her mate. She's outcasted for being a cat shifter in a pack of wolves. Her leopard is beautiful though.

"Hey Echo, how was your morning?" I give her a side hug as a greeting a we begin to walk down the hallway towards the major packs building.

"Uneventful, Luna Lily is found out her pup is actually a little lion. She asked me to help her take care of him. She doesn't want the pack knowing yet." Echo says looking into the distance.

"How does she know hes a lion? Isnt he only two?" The question just came out of my mouth without thought. My had flys to cover it. "Sorry."

"No, no its fine. She tried to get him to growl and it came out as a roar. I came to give him his food and he did it again. She asked me if I did that when I was little and I told her I purred instead of howling. So instead of my daily chores I will be his babysitter. I will be moved into his room to keep him contained since lions kits are worse then wolf pups." She smiles," He reminds me of Lexi. You know before they moved."

"Now, now Echo. Lexi was a very special girl. Thats why your parents moved to protect her. Im sorry that they thought the pack would take care of you but I think that now if they found out that their Alpha will be a lion then they will except you. Its all in genetics." We had arrived at her class room. She gave me a tight hug and mumbled something about seeing me at lunch. I walked on to my nature class. We have a huge in school garden in the major pack building. They teach us many things about the world, human people, other animals, it helps us connect to our animal spirits. On the way there I pass by Alpha Saint's room.

"Beckenford."

"Alpha Saint, I go by Beck now. Its nice to see you," a small smile forms on my lips. He was my old Alpha, he's like a second father to me.

"Beck, look at you. You've grown so much, my boy. I have gotten a few leads on the beast. But other then that nothing."

"Alpha Saint, it's alright. I'm going to see my parents later if you would like to come with me. But now We have classes to get to. Goodbye Alpha," I said with a bow of my head and continued to the center of the building to the major garden.

The garden takes my breath away. Its a huge glass domed room with different plants and animals both supernatural and natural living in harmony in their own ecosystem. There are benches and blankets underneath the center willow in the garden. There our teacher waits for us to wonder in to start class. I love this class already.
