"CAMERON! PLEASE" MY mother's voice urged, trying to push me away from her.

"I can't mom, I can't leave you!" I said, sobbing. I tried hugging her tighter, refusing to let go.

"Cam, please, we will see you again, I promise," she comforted. Her hands came up to her neck and pulled off her necklace. She flipped it around before clipping it onto me. "Now go. Go with your sisters. I love you Cameron."

She gave me a final kiss before pushing me towards my sisters. She turned and walked to the car sitting in our driveway. Looking back, giving us all a smile, and telling Zoey to take care of us, she climbed into the car with the two large men and Dad.

My sisters and I sobbed, watching the car until it was out of sight. A couple of seconds later we heard a loud crashing sound and ran to where the sound had come from. Lying in front of us was debris everywhere, and in the middle of that was our parents bodies, covered in blood.

I woke up screaming, immediately reaching for my neck for comfort. My hand quickly found the necklace given to me by my mother. I twirled it between my fingers, trying to calm myself down.

I looked down at the silver moon and star charm on the necklace. My dad gave it to her for her birthday because of her love for astronomy.

Whenever times would get tough she would go out and sit in the patio and look up at the stars. Often times when I came out with her, she would tell me stories about the constellations and how they got there. She would point out my zodiac and tell me about the twins in the sky.

I looked over and checked the time, hoping it wasn't too freakishly early. I knew I wasn't going to be getting any sleep after that.

Late enough.

I shrugged of my cover and climbed out of bed. I grabbed my workout clothes and headed down to the training room, hopefully putting some of the adrenaline I had, into good use.

After about an hour of throwing different series until my arms were numb, I decided to be done. I walked over the bench on the far side of the room and sat down, putting my head in my hands. The memories of my parents death kept repeating over and over in my head, making it hard to sleep at night. I missed them. I missed them more than anything.

I didn't even realize I was crying until I felt a pair of arms me. I looked up see Zoey, her chocolate eyes glistening.

"I miss them too," she half-smiled. I leaned into her and we cried together, letting our tears try and wash away the memories of our parents bodies splayed on the ground.

I was in an especially pissy mood when I walked into school later that morning. We didn't have any warm water to shower with, I burned my finger trying to straighten my hair and I forgot to eat breakfast.

All in all, I'd say it was just dandy, note the sarcasm.

"Who rained in your bowl of sunshine, thunder cloud?" Said a raspy voice from behind me.

I whipped around, seeing it was the same blue-eyed beauty that took out my earbud. My face hardened in response.

"What do you want?" I said dangerously low.

"I still never got my thank you from yesterday," he stated, crossing his arms. He looked like the kind of guy to always get exactly what he wanted

"For what?" I asked him. Right now he wanted an apology, but momentarily taking away my only source of therapy was not something I would thank someone for.

"For taking out your earbud, so you could listen to the teacher," he replied impatiently.

"What if that was the reason they were in," I snapped. He pressed his lips together in a tight line, as if to hold his tongue. I walked away before he could say anything else. I didn't have the energy to deal with him today.

As I turned the corner on my way to class, I ran into none other, but the devil herself.

"Watch it, bitch," she snapped.

"Do I look like a dog to you?" I replied with way too much attitude leaking into my voice.

"No, they're much cuter," she snarled. "You look more like those hairless cats, I feel bad for your parents, they probably weren't very attractive since you turned out like that."

Something boiled inside me the second she mentioned my parents. I was sick of her. I threw a punch that landed on her nose. I felt her face crack under my fist, and smiled to myself.

"Not today," I muttered under my breath as I walked away from a crying Queen Bee, complaining about her ruined makeup and the nose job she's going to have to get.

"Miss Garcia!"

I was then dragged by a teacher all the way to the principals office. She pushed me down on the chair and went to find the principal. I studied my surroundings, figuring this wouldn't be the first time I would be in here.

"Principal Talbot would like to see you now," she said as she pulled me into his office. As soon as I was in there she turned around and walked out, shutting the door behind.

"Please Miss Garcia, take a seat," a voice behind me said. I turned around to find a larger man with short brown hair, sitting behind the desk, his hands placed on the surface. "Would you like to tell me why you're here?"

"Not really," I replied sitting down in the chair closest to the door.

"Why did you punch Brittany?" He asked me.

"That's her name?" I accidentally voiced my thoughts.

"Yes, now please tell me, why is she in the bathroom bleeding everywhere," his voice became harder by the minute.

"'Cuz I punched her," I said nonchalantly. I shrugged my shoulders and leaned back in the chair.

"And why did you do that?" He questioned, almost too nosily.

"Because she talked bad about my parents," I answered his question, examining my nails as if this whole situation wasn't a big deal.

"Yeah I'm going to have to call someone," he said, cutting straight to the point. "It says here your legal gaurdian is your twenty-one year old sister, is that correct?"

"Yes," I reply. He started hitting buttons, and I soon realized what he was doing.

"Wait, no!" I shouted quickly. "It's her first week at her new job so she can't miss," I try and explain quickly.

He hung the phone up. It was silent for a few seconds, before he finally looked up at me. Something flickered in his eyes after hearing the fear seep into my voice.

"Fine I'll let you off the hook since this is your first time in here but I don't want to see you here ever again, understand?" He explained.

"Yes sir," I answered quickly. I grabbed my backpack and basically sprinted out of the office, extremely grateful my sisters wouldn't find out. I'm too young to die.
