Damon's p.o.v.

"Well... goodbye, mom...dad...layla..." i said as i knelt in front of my family's gravestones. I went home, grabbed my bags, and set off for the airship to beacon academy. As i dropped the bags at the collection point, i was spotted by some of the city girls, who immediately exclaimed," ohmygod, its Damon! Hurry, before he boards the airship!" This triggered a veritable stampede of fangirls to chase me around town. 'How did I get myself into this?! I just wanted to drop my bags off, not run a marathon!' I thought as I ran down the main thoroughfare, chased by the mob of fangirls. Just then, I received a call on my scroll. I patched it through to my earpiece, and said," hello?" Trying to sound as calm as possible. A familiar voice said," dude, where are you? The airship is gonna leave you in five minutes!" My best friend Victor yelled at me. I said," I'll be there in 60 seconds." I hung up, snapped my fingers, and used my Phoenix walk to teleport to the boarding ramp. I walked onto the airship, found Victor, and dropped into the seat next to his. He didn't even look up, saying," fangirls again?" I said," yeah. Story of my life. I can't go anywhere without them finding me. All I want is a nice girl who sees me for who I am as a person, and not for my Ability or friends. Is that too much to ask?" Victor said," nope. But it seems you already have an admirer." And nodded at a black haired girl with a blue streak dyed in her hair. I looked up, watched her blush and look away, and said," yeah. Maybe." Victor smirked, And said," maybe you should go talk to her." And shoved me in her general direction. I sighed, and said, "ok."
