RWBY reunion

No one's p.o.v.

A private SDC shuttle landed at the Beacon hangar, discharging a visibly concerned Weiss Schnee. She looked around, and said quietly," Ruby said she would be here...." almost as if summoned by her words, a crimson blur raced out of the elevator, and screeched to a halt in front of her.  Ruby said, " Weiss, it's so good to see you!!!" Weiss smiled warmly at swing her old friend, and said," it's good to see you too, Ruby." And gladly gave her old friend a quick but firm hug. Weiss said," where's Rowena?" Ruby said," eating lunch. She'll be here with the rest of her team in about half an hour." Ruby then said," I heard about Neptune. I'm sorry he did that." Weiss said," well, I'm sorry for not listening." Ruby nodded, and said," well, while you're here, I figured we could have a reunion. Blake got here yesterday, and Yang will be here in a few hours. Ren and Nora will be here in a few days, and Jaune is on a bullhead from the city as we speak." Weiss had an open look of shock. Ruby said," yeah, he's over his motion sickness. Kinda shocking, I know." Weiss nodded, and they both left to go to the cafeteria to meet up with team Specter. However, there was no need for that, as a faint scream of," Food fight!!!" Was heard. Weiss said," there's no way." Ruby said, " it brings you back, doesn't it?" They watched from the doorway as team Specter waged a two-front war against team Nessus and team Void.

Inside the cafeteria
3rd person p.o.v.

Damon dodged a baguette that was hurled like a javelin by Patricia. It fragmented against the wall, prompting him to say," ok, just what do they put in those baguettes?!?!" As he was forced to backflip away from a barrage of soda can grenades. As he regrouped with Victor, Rowena, and Morgiana behind a table, he said," this is ridiculous." Victor said," wait. Rowena, Can you move freely on ice?" She nodded, and Damon grinned as he saw Vicotr's plan. Morgiana said," before you ask, yes, I'll use my glyphs to hold them in place. Damon, be ready to trap them." Damon nodded, and Victor launched over the table, and said," catch me if you can, punks!" And ran off towards the trapping point. Predictably, they followed him. Damon conjured a wall of fire to pin the two teams, and Morgiana froze the surrounding ground, effectively freezing the two teams in place. Once she did that, Rowena darted around using her glyphs to move on the ice, taking advantage of the enemy's positioning to bounce around like a human bowling ball, eventually breaking them out of their icy shackles. However, the sheer force of the blows coupled with the slickness of the ice made it so there was nothing to stop them from slamming into the wall in a heap. Victor called out, "YES!!! won!!!" Damon looked at the door way, saw Professor Ruby and Weiss Schnee, and said," guys, we've got company....." prompting Rowena to look up, see her mom, and shout," MOM!!!" and run over to her with a wide grin. Weiss said," congratulations on winning the food fight, Rowena." A smile on her face. Weiss then called out," which one of you is Damon?" Damon said," that would be me, ma'am." She said," thank you, young man, for helping my daughter." He said," I only did what anyone with half a heart should do." An irritated clearing of the throat behind Ruby prompted her to turn around and see an irate Blake, arms crossed and foot tapping on the floor as she gazed at her daughter Leone, who was currently sprawled out with a hand to her head. She said irritably," mind telling me why you can't answer your scroll?" To Ruby. Ruby cocked an eyebrow, and said," it's on silent. I always keep it on silent during school hours." Weiss said," now, now, Blake, be nice. There's no need to be upset." Blake said," Weiss? When did you get here?" She said, " about an hour ago. It's good to see you." Blake gave Weiss one of her signature half-smiles, and said," good to see you too, Weiss. Been a while." Weiss said, " Yes, it has-" a loud bang cut her off as Yang threw the door open, and said," damnit, i'm late to the first RWBY reunion since we beat Cinder in Mistral!" Ruby sighed.
