Masks and Potential Crushes

(Y/N)'s POV

It was a tense moment until everybody except Birdy jumped, I looked behind myself "Oh! Hey Batsy!" I grinned.

He grunted "Come with me." I shrugged and hopped up from my spot on the couch and followed him to a room full of computers. He turned to face me.

"I have searched through all the criminal records, government files, and face matching software out there and I have found nothing on you. What are you hiding?" He growled out the last part. I smiled and reached up pinching his cheek.

"That's non of your business Batsy!" He glared at me.

"If your going to be part of this team then your removing the mask."

I heard the team walk in and frowned "Then I guess I better leave." I said emotionlessly and started walking back to the teleporting thingy.

'*Sigh* I guess were meant to be forever alone...........'

'I'm not surprised, every time we come even close to making friends they always use us for something.'

'Yeah.............'

I felt a hand on my shoulder and saw Batman holding me in place. He sighed "You obviously have a problem with removing your mask so I won't make you do it but you have to show at least one person on the team." I smiled a small smile and nodded.

"I pick Magician Girl, Arrow Girl, and the Green Skinned Chick!" I put my hands on my hips.

The three looked surprised "Why us?" Arrow Girl asked suspiciously, I shrugged "Girls are better friends to have, at least in my opinion!" Magician Girl and Green Skin smiled. Batdude nodded "Everyone leave except you three and Deathpool." They did as told and left.

I turned to the girls who looked at me expectantly "Okay! Here's the deal we go out there and you tell them you saw my face!"

Magician Girl sighed "Why don't you want to show your face?"

I looked at the floor "Because the last I trusted someone it ended badly" Arrow Girl gave me a look of sympathy and understanding while Green Skin Girl frowned and patted my back.

Arrow Girl spoke suddenly "I swear we won't tell anyone anything if you show us your face, we won't even tell Batman anything, right?" The other two nodded. I smiled, it's good to have people who you can trust.

"Okay I'll do it! But you have to tell me your names or at least your hero names!" They agreed.

"I'm Zatanna"

"M' gonna call you Zat!"

"Artemis"

"Hmmm...........Oh! I got it! Artsy!"

"I am M'gann!"

"Meggy!"

They smiled at the names I came up with. Then Artsy did something that shocked me. She. Removed. Her. Mask.

She smiled at me "You seem like a person I can trust" I smiled back.

"Okay your turn" My throat went dry at that.

"Okay! But you have to promise that we can all go shopping this weekend to celebrate our new friendship!"

"You act a lot like a girl" Zat observed.

"Hey! I take offense to that!"

"Enough stalling!" Artsy scowled, I visibly deflated "Fiiiinnnneee!"

I took a deep breath and my new friends smiled reassuringly at me. I reached up and gently took off my black hat and peeled my mask off quickly putting my white hat on since I don't like to be seen without one of them on my head.

I scratched my arm nervously, I looked up at them and was shocked to find each of them had little blushes on their face. I rose an eyebrow.

"What's wrong? Do I have somethin' on my face!" I put my hands all over my hands trying to find the cause of the stares.

"Your really hot!" Zat blurted out, I rose an eyebrow.

"Really?"

Zat blushed and nodded while the other two just stood there awkwardly looking away with red faces.

I smiled and threw my arms around their shoulders "Yeah! Me and my girlfriends together forever!" Zat and Meggy smiled while Artsy smirked.

I slipped my mask and black hat back on and strutted back to the lobby where the others were waiting. SOB zoomed up to us.

"So! What'd he look like!" Artsy stepped up "We promised we wouldn't say anything" SOB started whining.

"Awwwwww! Come on!"

They ignored him like a boss and started walking towards the zeta tube.

"Hey DP you comin'?" Artsy asked, I rose an eyebrow.

"Where?"

Zat smiled "To the mall of course!" I squealed and ran over to them linking my arms through theirs.

"Yas! Don't wait up boys!" And with that we walked out the awesome divas we were!

*Timeskip*

3rd POV

The boys of the team were just watching static in the living room.

"I do not mean to sound ungrateful, but, I am currently experiencing extreme boredom" Aqualad spoke politely.

"Don't worry Kaldur we're bored too" Robin said slumping slightly in his seat.

"Soooooo what do you think the girls and that Deathpool are doin' now?" Kid Flash casually.

The others stayed silent at that except a grunt from Superboy. 

(Y/N)'s POV

"Oh honey! That color does not suit you!" I exclaimed snapping my finger  when Meggy came out in an orange dress.

"How about this?" I looked over and saw Artsy in a yellow shirt with red pants. I cringed.

"What do you think (Y/N)?" I turned my head and saw Zat in an neon blue long sleeve shirt and burgundy shorts. I frowned.

"You girls got no style!" I yelled getting peoples attention.

"What do you mean?" Meggy asked confused.

I strutted up to them and posed "You girls got no style!" I say speaking like a nit-picky man.

"What's wrong with our style?" Artsy said putting her hands on her hips.

"Look. In. The. Mirror." I say dramatically pointing to the large mirror next to us. They turned and looked at themselves in the mirror and cringed at what they saw.

"Yeah." I deadpanned, Artsy huffed "Like you could do any better!" I grinned "Wanna bet?" She smirked "Okay then! If you think you're so good at this then you can pick our clothes and if we look smokin' hot then we'll do something for you!" The other two nodded in agreement even  though Meggy probably had no idea what she agreed to.

I smirked and shook her hand sealing the deal "You're on!".
