Why Us!!

The Great Hall was filled with confused students sitting in pairs eagrly waiting for the Headmaster to announce their partners.

Hermione's Prov:
I look around and wait for Dumbledore to speak.

"Good Morning, students. I know you are curious about what we are going to tell you but please know that me and Professor Mcgonagall have tried our best to convince the minister to take down the law, but we didn't not succeed" Dumbledore says as he sits down and Professor Mcgonagall stands to speak.

"Now as i call you name please stand, sit your assigned partner and then i will direct each group of couples to their dormitories," She says as she takes scroll from the table. And start reading the names.

I got so nervous at that point.I zoned out until i heard Ginny's name who stiffened beside me.

"Ginny Weasley and Harry Potter"

Ginny walked to Harry's side and sat down giving him a peck on the lips making Ron beside them sick.

"Ronald Weasly and Lavender Brown"

Ron groaned and turned to Lavender who was grinning. Poor him...

"Pansy Pakinson and Seasmus Fennign,"

Pansy looked uneasy and Blaise and Malfoy erupt into laughter. Seasmus was murrmering to God about what he did wrong to get a Slytherin.

"Luna Lovegood and Blaise Zabini"

Blaise's smirk fell when he heard he was paried with Luna who was smiling and skipped towards him and sat down. Malfoy and Pansy couldn't stop laughing.

"Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy"

I froze and then glanced at Malfoy whose smirk disappeared abd now Pansy And Blaise were tge ones who were laughing.

"What!!!" Me and Malfoy say in union satnding up.

I stand up and walk to him which suprized me because he was right behind me. Why him.
I dragged my self to his couch and sat down leaving as much as space possible in between us but the couch was too small our knees were touching. He is so cold.

Draco's Prov:
Me and Blaise were laughing so hard when we saw Pansy's face but stopped when she was giving death glares to us and walk over to Fennign. Later
Me and Pansy were laughing so hard when Blaise got paired with Lovegood. Then i heard my name.

"Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy,"

I freeze and look at Granger in front of me.

"What!!," Me and Granger say in perfect reunion.

She sighs and walk backwords toward me and sits down. Maintaing distance but couldn't because they couch was too small and knees were touching. Granger is warm.

"Now this is first group except the fennigins, Serveres do you mind reading the list so i can show them their dormitories?" McGonagall says and Snape nodds talking the parchment from him. And led us to our new groups.
