In strode Illiea, and her rider sitting on top of her. The king was ready to explode with furry, but he know it's unwise to anger the dragon. It has grown into a large dragon, almost the size of Saphira when she first came with Eragon to Surda. The dragon stood at the centre of the court with head held high and not bothering to bow to the king. Sarah slid down to meet her father. She met his glare evenly before speaking. 'Father... um, King Orin, I and my dragon Illiea are ready to travel and meet Eragon Shadeslayer to start our training as dragon riders,' she spoke loud enough for everyone present to hear. 'Sarah..um..... young rider, you are not allowed to leave Surda. And that is final,' loud gasps were heard as the king made his decision. 'But dad,' Sarah protested. 'Enough! You are the princess of this kingdom, and you have responsibility to your people. And if you dare to leave without permission, I will ask all the lieutenants and sentinels available in Surda to order their men to shoot your dragon down at first sight. Both of you will become outlaws and cannot enter Surda again assuming that you survived the attack and escaped, even if you graduate as a rider from Eragon himself. Is that clear? Now go back to your chambers,' King Orin stood up as he bellowed. Brian was already beginning to sulk. Illiea spoke for the first time since entering the court,' alright, we will not travel to meet Eragon and Saphira if you guarantee Princess Sarah's  safety and freedom. You have my word.' 'Illiea, no!' Sarah tried to stop her but it was too late. King Orin was grinning like a five year old that just got his favourite toy. 'Ah, dragons are noble creatures and are capable of keeping promises very well. I give you my word, no harm will come to your rider as long as she and you stays within the borders of Surda,' the king spoke with glee evident in his voice.

Back in Sarah's room,

'Why did you do that?' Sarah glared at her dragon. 'Did what?' her dragon asked innocently putting on a teary puppy eye face. 'Don't you dare use that face again to get out of trouble! You know we had to go and get our training!' Sarah continued. 'At what cost? You loosing your father's love and your citizenship in Surda,' her dragon replied. 'Plus, I could do with a few years of good rest and sleep,' her dragon lifted the gloomy mood quickly as she fixed her face tot the innocent type face that Illiea knew Sarah couln't resist. 'Awww u look too cute darling. Almost as cute as a little kitten or maybe a puppy,' she couln't bring herself to be angry at Illiea any longer, especially not with her dragon doing the lost puppy innocent face. 'Thank you Princess, I'm actually considered beautiful or maybe glamorous instead of cute. Its hardly a word to describe my beauty. And a kitten or a puppy is hardly a word to describe the king of the food chain,' Illiea spoke through their link while straightening her position. 'Show off,' Sarah poked her tongue out at her dragon as she crept up to her bed and fell asleep.

She broke out of her trance as Illiea prepared to land.

'Still thinking about that day, little one?' Illiea inquired, worry clearly in her voice. 'Yeah, its nothing,' Sarah waved it off. True to her words, Illiea never brought Sarah away from Surda's border or tried to leave Surda and travel to Eragon's new place at the ery edge of the Hadarac Desert. Secretly Sarah hoped her dragon would have broken the promise but the dragon was adamant and stuck true to her promise.

Unknown to the princess, her dragon, King Orin, and the rest of the palace for that matter that a storm was brewing in midst of the general population of the people of Surda. They had seen a dragon, a dark shade of pink to be exact, and their beloved character, the Robin Hood of Surda, 'Ghost' was seen riding it in broad daylight under the very nose of the palace guards in the town hall earlier that morning. So, he is a rider they exclaimed excitedly. I wander how he looks like the city's teenage girls would gossip. It spread far like a wildfire, wide, vicious and fast. Stories of the 'Ghost' continued to grow as they passed from mouth to mouth among the commoners. Some even claimed seeing him fighting off a Letherblaka somewhere south of Surda while others claimed to have seen the dragon even before Galbotrix's fall. Some travellers claim that this dragon was much larger than Saphira herself. However, when the question, "why didn't he help out in the war?" is brought up, nobody had an answer. Some stories were too extravagant that few chose to believe in those types of stories. But everyone knew in their heart, that another rider has risen and should Agleasia or Surda face another large scale trouble, Eragon and Saphira will not be alone as this new rider can help him, given he is trained by Eragon himself, or so they thought.

A small group was secretly formed, mostly the poorer folk, farmers, and all those that have been supported by 'Ghost' at least once. the very night the dragon was sighted at a small house belonging to a single mother who lived there with her daughter. 'Why do you think he hasn't gone to seek Lord Eragon to train?' one of the assembled member asked. 'Maybe he doen't know that Eragon and Saphira exists?' another asked. 'Impossible!' another scoffed. 'Everyone knows the tale of the riders until the end of Galbotrix's rule', another chipped in. 'Maybe he doen't think that they are friendly or maybe he doesn't trust them,' a girl voiced out. Everyone turned at the source of the voice. With all the attention focused at her, young Shiela shuffled her feet uncomfortably. 'We could help him out by explaining to him that Lord Eragon can help enhance his skills,' she thought out loud for everyone present to hear. An agreeable murmur passed through the assembled crowd in her house. She was glad they could do something to help him as he had helped them numerous time and everyone present is in debt to him in one way or another. 'OK, let's do it, a voice spoke up,' though the source could not be identified. 'But, how will we communicate to the 'Ghost' when we have never even met him in all these years, He has helped hundreds of common people, yet nobody have gotten close to even see him from a close range. What we saw today was a stroke of luck as the crowd today was the first time anyone has seen him that close,' Sheila's mom spoke. She was nearly seventy years old, but she was a wise woman as she always help solve many quarrels and fights over petty matters before the palace guard could turn up and take the opportunity to arrest someone to be tortured in the dungeons. 'Well, we could put up banners and paint the buildings giving out a message that we want to talk to him,' again the unidentified voice gave out its suggestion.

The discussion went on till late night as many different ideas, some even bizarre and crazy while others were too time or money consuming. Their voice rose steadily as the night crawled away giving way for the sun. First rays of the sun begin to appear before the meeting dispersed. Everyone wore an exhausted expression but a determined smile was on their lips. Soon, they will be able to help the 'Ghost' by doing a favour for him.
