Eragon sat still on Saphira's back while she flew effortlessly across the edge of the Hadarac Desert. Saphira Bjartskular was worried about her rider but she kept quiet. She did not need to enter his mind to know what he was thinking and how he felt. She knew better than to pester Eragon now, she knew he would appreciate his own space for now. He would open up to her at his own time. She rose steadily and kept moving faster as though she was impatient with time itself and was eager to reach the destination they first sought. Both of them had waited months to fly this far away from Agleasia into the unknown.

However, she knew it wasn't exactly easy on the eighteen year old boy either. He had carried a large responsibility alone as the sole rider against Galbotrix's rule and had accomplish it by defeating the evil king. Now, he had to bear another responsibility again, "The Redemption of the Rider's Era" especially right after the end of the evil king's rule. The wind ruffled his unkept hair, roughly rushing past his face making his sky blue eyes tear but the lone tear that formed and trickled down his cheek wasn't because of the wind, however, it was of a deep sorrow. He had left as soon as Nasuada Nightstalker, daughter to the late Ajjihad and leader of the Varden was sworn in as the High Queen of Humans in Agleasia. Murthagh and his fiery red dragon had left for the seas at the north west regions of Agleasia to make amends for the problems they had caused while they were under Galbotrix's control. Arya, had left almost the same time as Eragon to the northern parts of Agleasia where Du Warden the forest city of the elves lie. She had to help the elves to pick a new ruler as their queen, Queen Islandi died in the final battle against Galbotrix. 'Arya', even her name seemed to be so dreamy to Eragon. Her perfect face, angular eyes and her dark flowing hair even her smile that he rarely see had left its mark on his heart. The very thought of never being able to see her again brought bile to his mouth, his heart clenched at that particular thought. Yet, he had a duty to do for the sake of the Riders and their dragons and Arya is bounded to her duties as the sole daughter of the deceased Queen Islandi. Roran Stronghammer, Eragon's cousin and his wife Katrina was also there when he departed, their sad eyes will always haunt his sleep. He was sure they will get over their sorrow soon enough but they will never forget him and him them.

Saphira landed with a soft thud, breaking Eragon from his trance. He looked around and saw a valley surrounded by high mountains except for the path behind him where Saphira had flown in. 'Satisfied, little one?' Sapphira's soft voice entered his jumbled mind. He nodded enthusiastically. He liked what he saw but made a mental note to place more protection on the path that is accessible by the others who are not Riders, as the rest of the valley can only be entered on a dragon back. 'Its perfect' Eragon breathed. He was mesmerized by its beauty and sat there on Saphira's back taking it all at once. The surrounding was lush green and the forest was not too thick. The tall mountains surrounding the valley put the mountains back at the spine near Carvahall to shame. He could faintly hear the roar of the waterfall from where he stood. "Well, this is home for us after this" he thought to himself. 'Fly higher Saphira, I wanna see the entire valley form the top,' he told his dragon. In response, Saphira unfold her wings and flew up. The top view was far more beautiful than anything he had witnessed before this. Most of the valley was flat and suited Eragon's purpose perfectly. 'There is place for hundreds of dragons', Saphira exclaimed as she felt excitement rush through her. He noticed that a river flowed out of the valley from a waterfall near the back of the valley and into the Edda river. 'Let's inform the others as well. I'm sure they want to see this place for themselves ' Eragon told his dragon. 'Yes, little one. I'm sure they would like to see their new home as soon as possible.' Saphira told her rider

Together they both went back to the elves who were traveling on a boat along the Edda river. They had been travelling for a few months on the boat bringing along some tools and resources. They had very little scenery change that everyone was beginning to feel restless though the elves managed to hide it better than Eragon could. He savoured every moment of flying with Saphira, as nothing could be compared to the feeling of it, the rush of adrenaline and more. He was grateful to have Saphira, with her by his side, he felt complete. With their minds connected, their two bodies became one. Soon, they were flying over the boat that they and the elves had travelled. It  would take them another three days to reach the valley and Eragon could hardly wait to get started.

They had found home, and he had found the perfect name for it.
