His surroundings were empty. Typical sports stadium with no other being except of him inside. Experiment bottles filled with weird liquid, sprays, spell papers, smoke bombs, lucky charm supplies and other mystical craft tools inside his bag.
Illusionist.
One who can cast illusions and spells on other people. One who can break the spell.
He was the spell and illusion caster in the group. Not only illusion, but brainwashing one's mind is completely doable too.
"It would be better if the enemies could be dragged into the sports stadium, those weak bastards will be easy to mindfuck."
Before staying inside the sports stadium, he was guarding the school's backfield just in case an enemy attacked from there, but none came, so it was plain boring. Besides, he already put traps and spell papers among the grass and as soon as someone enters the area, they'll be trapped inside illusion.
"Ah, I should've picked some of Kevin's spell papers and illusion smoke bombs. What a pity," he could hear Kenneth whining across the in-ear. He was guarding the front gate.
His members had told him on his way here that if his sister needs help, he'll be the one being called to rescue her along with Risqhi. But, ah, no, Risqhi's close-range combat skills will be needed in this battle, so it'll be him by himself.
His role was the one staying behind the battlefield afterallーthe one who's used as a back-up and prepared other options when plan A failed, aka the one leading surprise attacks if needed. Well, technically, it wasn't him making the plans, he was just doing as he was told.
He was hiding his special illusion mantras as well as the same trap he put in the backfield earlier, and soon left headed to the rooftop.
"Professor, I'm coming to the rooftop. The sports stadium is no longer safe for people to enter other than us," he reported.
"Nope~ Don't come! Put more traps the 2nd and 3rd floors, except the rooftop and the 1st floor, since enemies there can be eliminated easily. The enemies who can't go pass the 1st floor are the weak ones, so the ones who pass are technically stronger, illusion will be needed. With Nara being shot, we lost one manpower. With Yao switching, one becomes two. You need to be quick if Kenneth and Carrick can't keep up the three-by-three attacks in the front gate."
"Well, if we are at disadvantage, why don't you help? The rooftop's is empty and you shouldn't be relaxing there when your teammates are fighting restless."
"I'm not relaxing, you know? I'm guarding the rooftop."
Kevin let out an irritated "tch".
"Please take this seriously, Professor. This isn't a game. This is included as one of our missions. Don't think that you can beat each of the enemies yourself."
"Oh? But I can do it, you know? I can beat the enemies into a pulpー ah, no. I can give you these men's heads if you want to, and if it is necessary. However, if I do it myself, then it isn't right to call it a 'group mission', is it? So it's better like this. There's no need to be so panicked about, Kevin. Remember that this will be part of our undercover mission that is yours to lead. How troublesome, really. As a leader, you need to be calmer than anyone. I've told you this many times, kid."
"...Well, I would want you to give me the heads of the enemies."
Kevin smirked and Nathaniel chuckled happily.
