Chapter 29: Real Identity

The whole group was gathered on the rooftop which has become a sea of human puppets with broken body parts as well as their fake weapons abandoned everywhere.

"How unsightly, don't you think?" Nathaniel, the one who plotted the ruins of the puppet party, chuckled at the squad's mouths that fell open and eyes that widened, showing their shocked expressions. The two maiden were there too, but that could be taken care of later.

You on your feet and Cindy on Risqhi's back, Kenneth, Yao Jia, Kevin, Caron, Carrick, Falhan, and there was someone missing from the group.

"Ah-- Nara! Why isn't he here?!" Yao Jia came into realization. The others looked at him pitifully, considering the previous scene where--

"He went home earlier, his parents called him," Frederick lied in the other's stead, staring into the helicopter above them and got the others to remember the huge engine wasn't leaving them. It was slowly landing on the rooftop, the group taking steps back from the spot where it'll land.

You and Cindy watched in confusion as it made its landing successfully, the engine turned off and the propeller blades stopped spining. Soon a man hopped out and stood by himself on the same surface as you and the others.

Each one of you knew the man who designed all the plans of the day, the troublemaker who you got mixed into and the one who hurt your precious friend. You glared at him with anger rising inside of your heart.

Chris stood normally and calmly with the helicopter beside him, smiling a smile that doesn't seem fake, and his fingers inside his pockets. The members, who were already worn out and were recharging their energy, prepared themselves and their weapons. Sakura too, was expecting to hand her holder the sword in any minute from now, when her holder opened his mouth to say,

"Everyone, prepare for-"

But without the warning being finished said, Liú Nathaniel collapsed on the floor in a second without making sense. His eyes were still opened, his body laying on the floor like a corpse. In a second as well, his brain stopped functioning as a whole like a dead person's which resulted in him losing both his body balance and senses. The whole squad, including you and Cindy who were also watching, were completely shocked out of their minds.

"Big... brother?"

Christy watched in horror and terrify as his brother collapsed on the floor, eyes widen at the moment and she could only focus on the screen that filmed the incident.

"What could have happened?! You have to look after him! Chris was the one who harmed brother, KILL HIM!"

Her inner side shouted inside her mind, she was being drowned in the inner side's hatred and rage seeing the situation of her brother. With her eyes turning into a gorgeously abnormal color for a human's eyes as they glowed like crystal, the color of lime green with glamorous light as the shades, Liú Christy got up from her seat and went outside the Control's Room immediately just as her inner side wishes, and heads to where something is happening.

With an abnormal speed, she ran upstairs to the rooftop, an abnormal speed that automatically activates whenever the inner side feels triggered and thus goes berserk. Not only speed, but also inhuman strength and battle skills with weapons or without them. She had prepared her gleaming laser blade that works just like a normal blade, Christy chose this weapon because she thought I'd suit her inner side better with the neon green light that resembles her eye colour when she's no longer Natasha Christy, but instead Liú Christy, which means the mind of hers is now her inner side's.
