Our principal let us go after briefing us about the rules of the school. He even gave us a poster with the rules written on it and asked us to stick it in our rooms, this sounds super lame. The rules included -
1) students are never to leave the building unless they are accompanied by a teacher.
2) There is to be no moving around the dormitories at night.
3) Breakfast is never to be skipped.
4) The students are expected to attend all classes without missing them. If students fail to do so there will be consequences unless there is a legit reason.
5) Students are discouraged to ask questions unless it is about their studies.
6)STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED ANYWHERE NEAR THE OLD BUILDING.

These guys were pretty serious about the whole students not going near the old building thing. I wondered how it looked it must be ruined and unsafe, that's why these guys go on and on about not going there.

I had got my room and it was nothing fancy just a 15x15 foot room. It had a small bed at the corner with a small desk complete with a shelf and drawer. There was no closet only a large chest at the foot of my bed. What was special about this room was that it had a window. I had heard many people say how the view from a Dormer Academy was breathtaking but not mine, mine had a view of the remains of a charred building standing amidst a pile of rubble. I was so 'enchanted' by the view that I did not notice the door open and a woman had entered she gasped and pulled me away from the window she then proceeded to draw the curtains while muttering words in a language I did not understand.

"I'm Leah I'm the matron of the boys east block, this is just a temporary room allotted for you, you will be asked to shift to another room in a few days time, but until then you are not allowed to go near that window neither are you allowed to draw the curtains apart or open the window"

"but I... " I began but she cut in and said "hush, you will do as I say and I do not want to hear any complaints  it is for your own good"
"But why?" I quickly asked before she could cut me off. She hesitated before answering "because it is" she paused scrunching up her face "Quite cold outside and the students tend to get sick"  she quickly turned around and walked out.

I looked around the room searching for my suitcase upon not finding them I assumed that the suitcases had not yet arrived. I was itching to get out of this suit my dad had forced me to wear. Yup I was wearing  a suit my dad insisted that I look smart on the first day of school but on arriving here I noticed that no one gave a flying monkey about what they wore because one- this place is filled with nerds. Two- it's too damn cold to dress fancy. And three- this place is cold and filled with nerds who are here to study and not play dress up.

I really need to get into my regular clothing, I got up from the bed and walk to the door and hear noises coming from the other side of the door.

Dun Dun Dun. How was it? I know that this story right now is not really that scary but I'm getting to the good stuff just stick around for a while and you might not regret it.
