For some reason, Wattpad decided to delete this chapter. So this new version will be a tad bit crappy, I will make it 'uncrappy' when I find the time. So bear with me for this crappy chapter. I promise the next one is awesome.

TAP TAP
The tapping continued. I let out a frustrating groan and covered my ears with my pillow. But Karma was being a bitch and the tapping only got louder. I got up from my bed and looked around to locate where the tapping was coming from.
TAP TAP it furiously continued. Maybe it's something outside my window. as I moved closer towards the window the taping became louder and faster. I drew in a deep breath and drew the curtain apart. I looked outside through the foggy window to find nothing, the tapping too had abruptly stopped. wiping the fog off the window I looked out again. It was dark, darker than it was back home. as I looked up straight at the ruins of the old building, I gasped at the sight in front of me.They were red. They were a hundred and they did not blink and just like that, they disappeared All at once.
I backed away from the window, scared. I stumbled onto my bed and sat at the beds' edge. taking deep breaths I calmed myself down. what I saw cannot be real. there is no way I sat red glistening things in a place that has been abandoned maybe they were bats, do bats have reflective red eyes, that does not explain them going out at once. Maybe it's my mind playing tricks on me, but it felt so damn real, it felt like those red eyes looked right into my soul. With these thoughts running through my head I drifted into a dreamless sleep.
the constant ringing of an alarm clock woke me up. Barely awake I look around for an alarm clock. frustrated on not finding one and having been fully awaken by that annoying ringing I manage to pull myself out of bed and step outside the room to get away from the ringing, but as I stepped out the ringing was deafening and I angrily shut the door after I went back inside. After several loud minutes, the ringing stopped and I heard a knock on my room door. I got to my feet and opened the door only to be met with Elijah.
'You look like shit."
"Thanks for pointing out the obvious"
"So you really are shit"
"That is not what I meant, I mean I had a pretty shit night"
"That does not justify you looking like shit"
"Whatever Elijah, I am not in the mood to deal with you. maybe come back tomorrow"
" Anyways I'm going to take a shower do you want to come with me, I don't mean taking a shower with me like taking separate showers in separate stall"
"I get what you mean Elijah, you don't have to explain it to me"
"I don't know how to handle your mood swings, I thought you would not understand due to the fact that people do not use their brain when they are moody"
I rolled my eyes and walked back inside to get clothes. After taking a few steps towards the trunk, I realised I had no clothes because my suitcase had not yet been delivered.
looking up at the ceiling I drew in a deep breath I turned around and walked back to Elijah.
"We cannot take a shower, our suitcases have not yet been delivered"
Elijah's eyes widened in realization "I forgot about not having clothes, I got excited about showering when I saw a couple of guys who live on our floor leave their rooms to take a shower. I wanted to meet the new people"
"When did you see them, I have not seen anyone on this floor other than you"
"Maybe if you occasionally popped your head out of your room, you might see them"
"Whatever I need new clothes, I'm going to go ask about our suitcases wanna come"
"Yeah"
Elijah walked out of my room and I followed him. Soon we were in front of matrons office. he knocked twice on the door and soon a grumpy woman with her hair flying wildly met our gaze.
"Umm.... we wanted to know if our suitcases have arrived" Elijah enquired.
Matron went back in and came out a few minutes later, she had a sheet of paper and squinted at it. "Ahh.. yes, your baggage should be arriving in a few minutes, why don't you boy go and wait for it by the gate"
"Sure" Elijah flashed his smile and turned around to walk away. I followed quietly behind him.
the cold winds hit our faces as we stood by the school gates. it had only been a few minutes since we had arrived yet I felt like I had been standing here for a couple of hours, frozen and unable to move. Elijah stood beside me gazing at the old ruins. he would often smile to himself and turn to look at me.
"Do you want to poke around that pile of rubble while we wait?"
"You cant be serious Elijah" I shakily question.
"I am quite serious Alec, I would love to see what the hype is about"
I rolled my eyes at him "You go have fun, I'm fine where I am."
"did someone say fun" a new voice piped in.
elijah and I turned towards the source of the voice. "Yeah man, I wanted to go near the ruins and poke around, it looks like a fun thing to do." Elijah said with his mouth turned up into a smirk.
"Mind if I join"
"we are not going there we will be in a shit load of trouble"
