Soo-Jung's New Life

Chapter 4: Only For A Day

        Today is the day Namjoon hyung and I tell A.R.M.Y the answer they've been asking for so long. But I wasn't just them we have been asked at some point during interviews too. What happened to Soo-Jung? The first two months she was gone everyone started asking questions but just rarely. But now the question is pretty much asked everyday. We plan to go on V Live to tell them.
"Are you sure you can do this?" Suga hung asks. "You don't have to if you don't want to know."
"A.R.M.Y deserves to know." I say.
They leave the room so it's just Namjoon hyung and I. I look at him to see if he's ready and he gives a nod. When I turn on V Live almost immediately people started to enter. Everyone was commenting different things. Saying hello, asking how we are, or just saying how proud of us they are. We talked about different things while everyone was still coming in. Once the numbers slowed we decided it was time to talk about what everyone wants to know.
"So everyone has been wondering about Soo-Jung." Namjoon hyung says. "It's like she just disappeared.
"A few months ago her birth parents came." I say. "Then they took her to America."
"We call her every chance we get." Namjoon hyung explains. "But that is challenging to do when we are in different time zones.
We explain what we are hoping to do in the future. Then thank them for watching and caring then sign off. When we go back in the room with the others it's quite.
"How are you feeling?" Jin hyung asks.
When they know we aren't going to answer they give a group hug around us. Minutes later Namjoon hyung gets a text.
"Who is it?" Suga hyung asks.
"Our manager says that V and I are going to an interview." I read. "Also to get there as soon as possible."
Namjoon and I take showers and get ready for the day. Jungkook and Jin said they would come with us. Suga said he has to go over the songs while Jimin and J-Hope are working on the dance choreography. Jin drove everyone to their destinations. When we got to where the interview was we were greeted by our manager. Luckily they let Jin and Jungkook come to the back with us. Namjoon and I got out make up done and we waited to go on.
"It's time for you guys to enter on stage." A stage director says,.
When we enter on the stage we sit on the couch that is nest to the desk and we are greeted by the clapping audience.
"Hello there." The host says. "How are you two today?"
"We're doing alright." Namjoon says
"What do you think we are going to talk about?" She asks.
"About the music we are making." I guess.
"Actually we are not." She answers. "We are here to talk about Soo-Jung. I tense a bit and I can feel Namjoon do the same. Even though it's just basic questions it's hard for me to answer. When we go to break I hurry to the bathroom. When I get there I go into one of the stalls and cry. As I do this I look at the pictures I took with her. Even though we talk on the phonetic isn't the same as seeing her in person.

-TIME SKIP-

"TaeTae." Jungkook says quietly.
I have calmed down but tears are still spilling out my eyes. I just hum a response.
"They say it's time for you to go back on." He says.
"I walk out the stall and I immediately get a hug from Jungkook. He hugs me the whole walk back. He also makes sure I'm ok before going back on. They want to make my face look better but I refuse.
"Have you been crying?" The host asks with sadness in her voice. And Namjoon just looks very angry. "I think I have something that will cheer you two up."
"I don't think so." Namjoon says in a frustrated tone.
"Just look." She says.
When I look up I see a girl and her dog off stage. but not just any girl and her dog. It was Cotton Candy and Eyes. The host introduces her and they walk on stage. I jump up from the couch and hug her just to make sure it's real. As I hug her I give her multiple kisses on he face as the crowd awes at the sight. I let go so Namjoon can hug her.
"What is she doing here?" Namjoon asks the host.
"We were able to fly her over here but sadly for only a day." The host answers.
We talk for another half hour for the interview then it's over. When we pick up the rest of the guys they all give her a hug. Eyes is in the back on their laps to it's a tight fit but we made it work.
"Where are you parents?" Suga asks.
"Sir and Ma'am are at a hotel." She says and everyone gives a worried look. "Don't worry they have a translator."
"What should we do?" Jungkook asks.
"Anything you guys want." she answers. "I'm only here for the day."
We do many things and we recorded it on our phones. She paints everyone's face, took lots of selfies, and played at the park with Eyes for a bit. When we got back to the dorm Cotton Candy found funny OC character poses that she said we should copy. It was the most fun day ever. She even showed us some of the videos that she's been working on. But she Got a call from her birth parents to go. So we all got started receding again. On the car ride we just talked about how much we are going to miss her and I made sure to give her lots of kisses. But Namjoon said to stop because he thought it was weird seeing his friend kissing his baby sister.
When we get to the air port we wave good bye and I give her many kisses. But her father pulls her away saying that they had to go. We waved and stayed until she Wass out of sight. Today was the best I have felt in a while. I can't wait to see her again and I miss her already.
