Soo-Jung's New Life

Chapter 12: The Question

-Taehyung's P.O.V-

"Are you going to ask her today?" Jin asks.
"Are you sure that you both are ready for it?" Suga asks.
"Is this the best time?" Namjoon asks.
"Will she say yes?" Jimin asks.
"Would you even have time for it?" Jungkook asks. "We do have a busy schedule sometimes."
"Is everyone doubting me?" I ask. "Did I do something wrong?"
"We're not doubting you." Namjoon says. "We just want to make sure that everything will go smoothly."
"It's going to change everything." Jin tells him.
"I know how big a deal this is." I explain. "My heart is telling me that it's time."
We are touring and one of the stops is Cotton Candy's town. Manager hyung says that I can ask the question at the end of the convert and will get her backstage for me. The plan is to call he on the stage and ask the question. I just hope she won't think that it's just a publicity stunt. But she knows that I'm not like that.
"What if Sir and Ma'am will even let you?" Namjoon says. "You know...because of the age difference."
"I didn't even think about that." I say. I'm starting to get worried. "Do you think they even like me?"
"Of course they do." Jungkook says patting my back. "What's not to like?"

-A few days later (Soo-Jung's POV)-

Today is the day. Today is the day I turn 17. Taehyung called me saying that they are doing a concert here. He got Sir, Ma'am and I backstage passes. He also told me to bring all the dogs. I wonder what everyone else is going to say about two digs and eight mix breezed puppies. My phone buzzes and it's the group chat Luna created for her, Andy, and I. When I open the message it was a video of them yelling happy birthday with fake fireworks spelling 'Happy Birthday'. I say thank you and turn off my phone. The dogs are up barking and running around my room. When I open the door all the puppies run out the room but slowly went down the stairs. Eyes, Scar, and I follow behind them.
"There's my birthday girl." Sir says coming up to me and giving me a bear hug. "What do you want to do today?"
"Remember her boyfriend invited the family to watch his concert backstage." Ma'am says putting breakfast on three different plates. "It's tonight."
"Which one was her boyfriend?" He asks. "Was it the youngest one?"
"No, remember he was the one making silly faces at Skylar." She says. "When all her fiends came over."
"Oh, isn't he a bit old for you?" Sir asks when he lets go.
"It's 5 years so it legal." I tell him as I fill the dogs bowls full of food. "And the concert is tonight."
"What are you going to do until then?" Ma'am asks.
"I don't know." I answer.
"What did you do when your other birthday's came?" Sir asks.
"Either in an interview for people to see if they want to take me home or being brought back to the adoption center."
"How about we go skating." Ma'am suggests.
"Luna, Andy, and I were going to make a video for our channel." I tell them.
"Are you going to do anything with us?" Sir asks.
"Let the girl hang out with her friends on her birthday." Ma'am says. "We can spend time with her at the concert."
"Thank you guys." I say hugging them.
When everyone was finished eating I put on the dogs harnesses and leashes, dressed them up in their Snow White costumes, then headed to And's house so that we can start the video. The video is going to be the dog version of Snow White and the seven dwarfs.

-Time Skip (Narrator POV)-

They took a lot of videos but are only about half way through. But the dogs and Soo-Jung had to go so that they wouldn't be late for the concert. Her, Andy and Luna planed to keep rolling next week. Once she got home we left for the concert. She sat in the bed of the truck wit the dogs as we made our way there.
"Are you excited to see your friends again?" Ma'am asks.
"Yea, I haven't seen them in almost a year." Too-Jung answer smiling. "I'm glad to see them on my birthday."
All the dogs are back on their leashes and we walk to the door leading backstage. He moved out the way when we showed the passes. Their manager greeted Soo-jung and her family.
"It's nice to see you again." He smiles hugging her. "Lat time I saw you you only had one dog."
"Eyes met Scar and I guess they started dating." she answers.
"Who is he?" Sir asks. "What is he saying?"
"This is the manager of BTS." I answer. "He's happy to see me again."
"The guys are waiting." Hobeom says. "Follow me."
As they walk the puppies tried to walk up to everyone and Hobeom and talked about memories. As soon as the guys saw me hey ran to hug me. When they let go of me the greeted Sir and Ma'am.
"Did you seriously dress them up as Snow White and the seven dwarfs?" Namjoon asks picking up one of he puppies laughing.
"That's so cute!" J-Hope says smiling.
"Do they have names yet?" Taehyung asks.
"How about each of you name a puppy." I say.
They all named a puppy and then went on stage. They did amazing during the concert. It ended and Unique was looking for a microphone. Soon someone came on stage and gave him one.
"Someone who is very special to me and our group has come today." He says into it. "Can you come to the stage, Cotton Candy."
I look at Hobeom and point to myself. He laughed a bit and nodded. Before I can walk Eyes, Scar, and the puppies take to the stage barking and wagging their tails. There was giggling and awing from the crowd.
"What did you do with my girl?" Unique asks the dogs.
I walk on the stage slowly and quietly. But NamNam walked up to me, picked me up, and set me down in front of Unique.
"I have a question for you." He says. "Can you close your eyes?"
I cover them and he says no peeking. Seconds later it's very quiet and I'm told to open my eyes. When I do Unique is in front of me on one knee a toy ring in his hand.
"Will you make me the happiest alien in the universe and marry me?" He asks.
"As long as you promise to love me forever." I say and also get to my knees to hug him.
The crowd cheers and everyone is happy and excited. Unique picks me up and spins me around. But once we were in front of Sir and Ma'am the feeling was gone. Sir looks very angry.
"You're not getting married." He says.
"Why not?" I say.
"He's too old for you." he answers. "I don't approve of it."
"But I'm of legal age." I tell him.
"You may be of age but you need parental permission to do so." He says. "And I don't approve."
I look down and walk to where the guys are. Their happy smiles turned to worried frowns.
"What's wrong?" Art asks.
"Why are you crying?" Jin asks.
"Sir and Ma'am said that I can't marry Unique." I cry
