Soo-Jung's New Life

Chapter 7: New Friends

I was eating lunch alone as usual. But a guy sat at the table with his lunch.
        "Are you Skylar?" He asks.
        "It's Soo-Jung." I answer. "What do you want?"
        "My name is Andy and you look like you fell out the sky." He winks.
        "Are you saying I look ugly?" I ask.
        "N-no I-I didn't mean I-it like th-that." He stutters.
        "Don't mind him, he's a dork." A girl says joining the table. "My name is Luna."
        "Why are you guys sitting with me?" I ask.
        "We want to be your friends." Andy smiles.  "You looked lonely."
        At first I tried to ignore them or give them short answers. But they were having none of it. Eventually they get me to open up. All three of us has something in common with each other. Before lunch ended I got their numbers and they want to come over after school.

-Time Skip-

        "Are you guys allergic or scared of dogs?" I ask before opening the front door.
        "No." Luna answers.
        "I love dogs." Andy says.
        "Be on your guard." I say.
        Eyes is on the other side of the door. She has gotten used to the new scedual and I have been tackled a few times. Scar is mostly laying in my bed or on the couch. When I open the door Eyes tackles Andy to the ground licking his face. Then he when to Luna smelling her then finally coming to me.       
        "Yes Eyes I missed you too." I tell her in Korean. "Was Scar okay today?"
        She barks in reply then goes to the couch where Scar is laying.       
        "You and you dog speak Korean?" Andy asks.
        "Yup." I answer. "I've been teaching her since she was a puppy."
        "What happened to that dog?" Luna asks looking at Scar.
        "Eyes some how got out the house." I explain. "And when I found her they were together. Plus she wouldn't let me leave him behind."
        "That is so cute." Andy coos as the to lay down together.
        I introduce them to Sir and Ma'am. Soon we are up in my room. They look a bit weirded out. There is BTS stuff in my room and some unfinished clothes around my desk.
        "Why do you have so many of this BTS stuff?" Andy asks.
        "Who is BTS?" Luna asks.
        "A South Korean boyband." Andy says. Luna looks at him like he's strange. "What my cousin loves them."
        "Six of them are my brothers and one of them is my boyfriend." I answer. "I miss them very much."
        "But you're an only child." Luna says. "And you're not Korean."
        "Well they aren't blood family." I say. "But they are still family."
        "How do you know them?" Andy asks.
        "It's a long story." I tell them.
        "Well we have time." Luna responds. "Let's hear it."
        I use the camera on my phone to record this moment. They question on why I did it but I just say because I want to. I plan to get on YouTube but I don't want to do it alone and I think this would be a good video. I tell them the whole story. From what I know and remember until now.
        "That is so sad and so interesting." Andy says.
        "I don't believe you." Luna comments. "Where is the proof?"
        I end the video and show them the different pictures and videos. Some where of my and them, times when they took my phone and took selfies, selfies of my sleep, silly videos, videos and pictures the others took of Unique and I, prank videos, and many other things.
        "Do you miss them?" Luna asks?
        "All the time." I answer.
        "Are you able to talk to them?" Andy asks.
        "It's hard with their busy schedule and the different time zones." I tell him. "But we make it work.
        For the rest of the time we go outside and play with Eyes. Scar comes outside but he doesn't play that much. Ma'am says he had a surgery, shots, and medicine that he needs to take. But the vet said that he'd make a full recovery.
