Chapter 6: Run Away

-Eyes P.O.V-

It's the middle of the night when I'm woken by Sir. He's picking me up and he set me down outside. It was still dark and it was storming. he was yelling and shouting at me which made me scared. I start to run off in a direction not knowing what to do.

-Time Skip-

I ran and found a box on the side of the street. It has finally stopped raining and is bright out now. I leave the box and start walking. I am trying to retrace my steps but all I can remember is what scared me last night.
"Hey you." A voice calls. I look around but I don't know where it is coming from. "Over here Idiot."
I finally know where the voice is coming from, it's coming from in a close by alley. When I walk to the voice there is a German Shepard. He has a mean look on his face.
"What is a dog like you doing out here?" He growls.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"You're a dog people would want." He tells me.
"Well what about you?" I ask. "Aren't you supposed to be a police dog?"
"No one wants me." He answers. "I was abandoned.
"But why your breed has great qualities." I tell him.
He steps into the. light so I can see him better. He only has one ear, a scar over a eye, and the other ear has a make that. it was bitten off.
"I don't know why they would." He says. "I know my way around the place."
"Can you help me find my way home?" I ask eagerly. "Please."
"Why!? So you can go back to a nice warm home and nice family?" He barks angrily. "While I say here cold and half starved?"
"I'm sure my owner would love to keep you." I tell him. "She is the sweetest girl."
"How can I know that?" He asks.
"Don't you want a home and family again?" I ask. "I can get her to take you in."
"If you're lying I'm going to kill you." He says.
"Hear you loud and clear." I smile. "Let's go."
"Wait a second Idiot." He tells me. "We have to wait."
"Why? I wanna go home." I whine. "Plus stop calling Mme idiot meanie."
"There is animal catchers and if we get taken to the pound you won't see your human and I won't see the day again." He says. "And what are you a puppy using the word meanie."
"I am a female so call me by my name, Eyes." I tell him. "What is your name?"
"What kind of name is Eyes?" He laughs. "And I don't have a name."
"How about we call you Scar." I smile.
"What ever." He grunts. "This is going to be a long day."
I got him to open up to me a bit during our day together. When he was lying in the corner shivering I go beside him and try to cuddle him. But obviously he just pushes me away. But I kept coming back. He said I was annoying before we fell asleep together.

-Time Skip-

"Wake up." Scar says nudging me.
"What time is it?" I yawn.
"Time to go." Scar says.
I get up and stretch my legs before following Scar out the alley.
"Ok where do you live?" He asks.
"In a house." I answer.
"On what street?" He asks. I stay quiet and look a bit embarrassed. "Even puppies know their address."
"Well I'm not from here!" I bark.
"What are you from the state next to this one?" He asks. "I don't know much but I know others who know those areas."
"I'm not from this country." I whine. "I'm from Seoul, South Korea."
"Then how did you end up here?" He asks. I can tell he's loosing his cool.
"How about we get moving and I can say if anything looks familiar." I say nicely. "On the way I will tell you the whole story

-Soo-Jung's P.O.V-

I wake up and I don't feel me dog by my side. It's early in the morning and I start to panic. I go around the house yelling her name but she doesn't come. All my yelling woke up Sir and Ma'am. Sir was very grumpy.
"What is wrong with you, Skylar?" he asks angrily. "Did you forget that I have a very important meeting today?"
"Did you forget who made you that suit for the important meeting?" I answer as I keep looking around the house. "Eyes! Eyes!"
"What is wrong sweet heart?" Ma'am asks.
"I can't find Eyes anywhere." I say.
"Maybe she got tired of you and ran away." Sir smirks.
"She wouldn't do that." I say. "She doesn't know her way around."
I start to walk out the door. but Ma'am stops me.
"Wait you can't go out in your pajamas." Ma'am says. "Calm down we'll find her."
"Do you have her chipped?" Sir asks.
"Yes but I can't call them because it is too late at night in Korea." I answer.
"Then I guess you won't get your dog back." Sir says. But he kisses Ma'am on the cheek. "I need to get ready for my meeting and if it goes well I'll get you a new dog."
"I don't want a new dog. " I grizzle. "I want my dog."
I go to my room and get dressed in a anime outfit. I get my bag and pack it with all the things Eyes will need I don't know how long she has been gone. But before I leave I text Namjoon and tel him what is going on and tell him what he needs to do so I can find my dog. I wait for Sir to leave before going out.

-Time Skip-

I just got a call from NamNam.
"Did they tell you where she is?" I ask as soon as I quickly answer. "Where is she?"
He tells me the street she was last seen on and tells me to calm down. Right now I am at home and it's late but I wake up Ma'am anyway.
"It's bedtime hon." She yawn.
"Can we please go get my dog." I plead.
She says yes. I hurry downstairs to get to the car. NamNam hung up because they had to do a performance and he'd call back. It feels like an eternity but we finally get to the street. I start whistling and calling her name. There is a growl and a dog starts running at me viciously barking. But it wasn't my Eyes. It is a German Shepard that look shortly injured. But another dog is running after it it's my dog! She stops the German Shepard, they exchange some gestures, and they both walk up to me.
"I missed you go much." I say crying tears of joy as I hug Eyes. "You were gone for two nights. Don't scare me like that."
I pull out some treats and give one to Eyes. When I start walking she barks when I turn around I find that she isn't following me. I walk back to her and the German Shepard.
"Is he a friend of yours?" I ask and she nods her head. "Do you want him to come home with us?"
She nods her head again. I pul out a treat for him and give it to him. He quickly eats it and I know he needs lots of care. I open the back door so they can get in. Soon they are comfortably laying together in the back.
"We have a new dog." I tell Ma'am. "Can we keep him?"
"I'll pay for him to go to the vet in the morning. " Ma'am answers. "But you have to pay me back and take care of them."
"Don't worry I will." I say smiling. "I'm going to call you Scar."
He just yawns. They must have had a long day. I take a picture of the two and put it on Eyes' Instagram and post it saying 'My new friend is coming home with me'.
When we got home Scar and Eyes is fed, washed and put in bed to sleep. Before I go to bed I text NamNam saying everything is fine and that I have a new dog.
