So these little flowers you see are going to be back stories on each supporting character on how they came to be in the house! I started with Dahlia, 🌸 its not crucial to read them since they won't really have a part in the plot, I just
Thought it'd be good to give some short story background on the characters in the house. Carry onMarch 9th, 2015
10:43 pmEmilio and Jareth were riding home from a movie when they noticed a car on fire turned upside down in the field down the street from the mansion. Jareth pulled over at the sight of a woman flagging down their car.
The two hopped out and rushed to the woman.
"Please help me...my granddaughter, Aniyah... she's still in the passenger seat." The woman begged hysterical.
Emilio stayed with the woman and tried to calm her, the smell of blood invading their senses as Jareth used all his abilities to tear the car door off and used his razor sharp claws to tear the seat belt off from around the girl.
Her dark brown skin covered in blood at the forehead as her shirt was torn from the impact. Jareth used his speed to get the girl away from the car as Jareth did the same as they listened to the whistling sounds as the car was about to explode.
Jareth covered the girl's body with his own, Emilio did the elderly woman. Emilio's shoulder's slumped as he realized the woman had bled out too much and she died before he even got to protect her from the explosion.
"Dammit." Jareth said as he smelled the death from his spot a few feet from Emilio and the woman. He sighed as he peeled the young girl's hair out of her face. He hitched his breath as he stared down at her, the beauty captivating him. He felt the chill run through him like ice water.
Emilio approached them and bit into his wrist and placed it against her mouth as he held it open gently.
"We should get her back to the house. She'll need more with these wounds, and I haven't eaten to give enough blood." Emilio said.
Jareth nodded as he picked up the young girl bridal style and carried her to the car. As they drove off they passed the ambulances and the police car that blared their sirens to hurry to the scene of the accident.
"I hate to deliver the bad news to her, when she wakes up." Jareth said with sorrow.
Emilio let out a deep breath as he nodded in agreement.
"You know father is going to want to keep her, what do you think he'll name her?" Jareth smirked trying to lighten up the mood.
Emilio scoffed. "He'll probably call her Iris, or Tulip." He said.
"Someone as beautiful as her? I think Dahlia will suit her the best." Jareth said matter-of-factly.
The two princes carried on the scene of the accident a mere view in the rear view mirror, carrying on their drive under the full moon home to their father and the other two awaiting women of the house.
The pair walked into house with the young girl covered in Jareth's trench coat.
Johnathan was before then in seconds at the smell of blood.
"What happened?" He asked concerned.
"We came across a accident on the way home." Emilio said closing the door behind him.
"And you brought her here? Why not let the human authorities handle it?" He asked furiously.
Jareth and Emilio looked to one another not knowing what to say as they weren't expecting that reaction from him.
Johnathan sighed as he ran a hand through his white hair. "Take her to one of the spare bedrooms, clean her up." He said dismissively. He paused them as he pulled back the coat from her face.
"Oh," he said taken aback. "She's remarkable." He stated in awe.
Emilio heard giggling coming from Rose and Petunia as they peered from the balcony upstairs. He smiled awkwardly. His hunger growing.
Jareth made his way up the stairs and laid her down gently as he sat next to her awaiting Emilio to feed her more blood. In the meantime he wet a warm wash cloth and used a little soap to clean the blood off of her a bit.
After Emilio fed and have her some more of his own blood Jareth watched as she stirred underneath the blanket as he sat off to the side of the room asleep.
She rose up and took in her surroundings. She began to panic and Jareth was at her side in seconds.
"Shh, you're safe now." He said cupping her face in his large hands.
She cried as she was frightened of the unknown stranger.
"Who--who are you?" She asked.
Jareth dropped his hands as he stared at her. "I'm Jareth Saloman. My Brother and I recused you from a car crash." He explained.
The girl's gave contorted into confusion. "A car crash?"
Jareth nodded.
"I don't know of a car crash, I don't even know my own name..." She trailed off.
Jareth smiled sadly. She didn't even remember her grandmother. He didn't know if that was for the best or tragic.
"Your name is Dahlia. And you live with my father, brother and I." He said.
"Who's that?" She asked looking behind his head.
Johnathan approached then from the doorway, his body leaning on the frame. "Welcome home. I'm Johnathan, and you're going to be well taken care of here." He smiled his fangs glistening in the light illuminated from the lamp.
