I sat down in the seat he was pointing to and felt something hit  the back of my head. I looked down to see that it was a pencil and that Chris was walking towards me smirking.

I picked the pencil up from the floor and broke it, putting the pieces in the bin.

"hey!! I needed that pencil!" he said angrily.

"then you shouldn't have thrown it, dickhead."

"Aerin. Christian. Detention for the both of you." I sighed once again, slouching in my seat just wanting this day to be over already.

Wednesday, 3:30pm

"okay kids, I'll give you 10 minutes and then I want you all back here for detention." The teacher said to the 7 people that were sitting, not really paying attention.

I walked out of the classroom, out of the school and then I just kept walking. I walked all the way up the hill and to a shop across from the school to get food and something to drink.

I walked back outside of the shop and someone came out from around the corner and stood in front of me.

"skipping detention I see. I should report you." the one and only, Chris Bang said to me.

"but you won't, idiot. You're skipping too." I snapped back.

"you're got me there. so, what are we doing today instead?" he smiled.

"what do you mean 'we'? why would I go anywhere with you?"

"because I know you've entered the competition on Thursday and I thought we could practice, as I am too." I sighed and just nodded as we walked together to the bus stop.
