Friday, 6am

I couldn't sleep last night thinking about Chan leaving so I went for a walk and hung out at a park for a little bit. I told Chan I'd be at house at 7, but since I was up, i started walking to his house at 6am.

I walked into his house, saying hello to his parents and his siblings, then making my way up to his room. I helped him pack the last of his things and then we made our way in the car.

His flight isn't until 10am so his family and I were planning to go for breakfast together before they had to go to the airport. We decided on this nice family restaurant that was on the way there.

After we ate, we quickly drove to the airport and they registered their suitcases and got their tickets. I was trying to stay happy was joking around with Chan.

"You know, i take everything I said back, that is a real nice jacket" I laughed gesturing to his purple jacket that I would always make fun of him for.

"here, keep it." he smiled as he took it off and put it over me. I put my arms through the sleeves and smiled back up at him.

"it's time to go, kiddo." his dad said tapping him on the shoulder.

"uhh, you heard what the big man said." he looked down at the floor.

I wrapped my arms around him and told him that i'd visit him as soon as u could and that he had to video call me everyday, no matter the time. he nodded and patted me on the head, then he turned around to leave with his family.

I walked around for a bit, trying to take in the fact that I just lost my bestfriend. After an hour of thinking, i made my way home. I put my hands in the pocket of Chan's jacket and I found a note..
