Thursday, 7pm
"hey, I've got something to tell you.." I stopped walking to look at him, he seemed so serious. I got even more nervous than I was before we performed.
"You know how I was on the phone to my dad this morning?" I nodded. "well, the thing is... we're moving to Korea... tomorrow." I just grabbed him in my arms and hugged him. i didn't know what else to do.
"im gonna miss you so much"
"I know, and I'll miss you too." he handed me the envelope with all the prize money in it.
"here, take it all please. Use it to come visit me sometime?" I refused, insisting that we split it, if anything, but he wouldn't let me.
"I'm coming to the airport with you tomorrow. you're not getting away from me that easily." i smiled, trying not to upset either of us any more than we were.
"I'd love that," he laughed, giving me another hug.
We got back into his dad's car and he dropped me off at my house. I got out of the car and walked to my door, with Chan still in the driveway -- as he always insists on staying until he sees me walk inside so that he knows I'm safe.
"see you tomorrow, loser" I shouted out to him and I unlocked my door and walked inside, collapsing against it as soon as it closed and letting the tears fall. what will I do without him?
