"do you wanna hear some of my songs? i know i cant really sing and they're just guides but I'd like to show you.." he said nervously, holding onto his laptop that had a lot of little stickers on it.

"of course! show me what you got," I smiled at him and he excitedly opened up his laptop on his desk.

He gestured for me to go over to it, so I did. I closed my eyes and picked a song randomly. When it started playing, I looked up to see that it was a song called 'Placebo'. I was taken aback at how good the lyrics were, just everything about it was incredible.

"Chan, wow. That was amazing. you've got so much talent! and yes, even in singing!" I laughed and clicked on the next song called 'Runner's High'.

I realised that it was very unlikely that I was going to win this competition tomorrow, but I thought that if it was Chan then it would be well deserved, and maybe he'll finally have confidence in his music, as he should.

"My songs definitely don't live up to yours and I have no clue how to produce songs, I've always been terrible at that. I'm just the writer." I laughed, getting out my rap notebook.

"i could produce them! we could team up, how cool would that be!!" he actually was bouncing up and down on his bed.

"I feel like I'd just bring your chances of winning down.." I said sort-of jokingly, but knowing that it actually would be true.

"no no no!! I've decided. I'm gonna do it. we're gonna do it!" I laughed, agreeing as I gave him my book.

I write these chapters in advance but I'd really like to update this more and I will try my best to (especially now as all I wanna do is talk about my baby Felix) but I'm just constantly sore or tired and got a bunch of schoolwork:(( I'll try my best!! for my boy
