The movie finished and we walked out of the cinema and to the bus stop that was across the road.

I had messaged my mother and told her that I was going to be late home, i just hope she doesn't know that I skipped detention, or even that I got attention in the first place.

"hey, I was serious about us practicing together for the competition tomorrow.." he said quietly.

"yeah, sure!" I said excitedly

"we could do it at my place if that's okay with you?" I nodded and we got on the bus again.

Wednesday, 7:33pm

We arrived at Chan's house and I was in awe, it was about 3 times the size of my house. I just stood outside, admiring the beauty until Chan called out to me, telling me to come in.

I took my shoes off and we made our way upstairs.

"are you not going to introduce us first?" someone said from the bottom of the stairs.

I turned around to see someone that I assumed was Chan's father. I walked back down the stairs and shook his hand, introducing myself.

"hi! my name is Aerin Moon, im a new friend," i said smiling warmly to him.

"Korean, good." was all he said before turning back around and going into the livingroom. Chan apologised for his father and said that he thought my introduction was cute.

what a weird guy.
