Chapter 6
My heart was pounding into my ribcage. I slowly drifted up, my back still on the door. I couldn't help but smile. I mean after what just happen today, it was impossible to not to smile. Jake started laughing, shaking his head down to the ground. I looked at him and started laughing.
"W-what?" i said through my laughs. You ever laugh when nothing funny? You just laugh, to laugh? Well thats happening now. I have no clue onto why we're laughing.
"Your just in love. It's so cute." Jake said in a girlie voice. I chuckled and replayed what happen tonight. Cody was a true gentleman tonight. Its like i just met somebody I never knew. Maybe, Love-at-First-Site. The things he told me. They were just like a fairytale. A princess finally found her Prince Charming. Maybe.. But then reality hit me. Cody is some big supper star. What about the hate? His attitude could change from all the stress he's put under. What if I catch him with another girl? See, the thing is, I'm the type of girl who worries about everything. I don't think about the good things, I think about the bad. I went from laughing, to frowning.
"I hope." I sighed and started to walk to my room. Tonight was just to great, I don' want anything bad to happen. That's all. That's all I ask for. Jake turned around and looked at me. He scrunched his eyebrows together and went to speak.
"Ughhhhhh.. What now?" he moaned. I haven't had a great history with guys. Cody was the best and the last. Jake was the only person I could talk to about it. I didn't have many 'girlfriends' because all they did was start drama. So, I had alot of guy friends. Jake was one of them. That's the kind of Brother-Sister relationship we had. He knew me like he knew the back of his hand. Good.
"I just don't want to get hurt again. That's all. I just want a real family with him. He was my first and I hope the last. I just love him and don't want to get hurt." I mumbled. I tried fighting the tears that were starting to come to the rim of my eyes. Jake pulled me into a tight hug and told me it was going to be OK. Robert started to cry from down the hallway.
"I'll go get him. Be careful on your way home. Night" I kissed his cheek and opened the door for him. I walked to Robert's room and noitced him sitting up on hiss bed, crying. He was mumbling 'Momma, Momma'. I kissed his forehead and crawled into bed with him.
"What's wrong buddy?" I kissed his temple. He hugged my side and let out a cute baby sigh.
"I had a bad dream about you and daddy. He left us after he promised me he wouldn't." he cried. I 'shhh'd' him and told him it was going to be OK. "Did you talk to him Mom?" he asked sleepyly.
"Yes baby. How about you and me meet up with him tomorow?" I smiled. I felt him nodded, to tired to speak. I found myself sleeping in his bed with him ever since I talked to Cody again. Robert was always crying so I had to comfort him. I hummed him his favorite tune before I found myself drifting into a sleep.

The morning sunshine was so bright. My eyes would flutter open and then shut. Once they adjusted, I fixed them on Robert. he resemble so much of Cody. His nose, lips, hair. His like Cody's mini me. I heard my phone go off. I rolled over only to land in the floor. I moaned in pain as I reached up to feel for my phone. Cody.
"Hello?" I moan, my side hurting from rolling off the bed.
"What's wrong?" he chuckled..
"I just fell out of Robert's bed, trying to answer the phone." I rubbed my head, kind of embarressed.
"I'm sorry. How's my little man?" I looked back at Robert and noticed him starting to get up. He was always grumpy at first, but then settled down after a while.
"He's just starting to get up. Do you want to doing something with him today?" I asked, hoping he would day yes. I heard him smile on thru the phone.
"I was just about to ask that. Yea. I'll come over in 5." he protested. I smiled and agreed. After we hung up, I started to clean up a bit. Next thing I knew, I heard the doorbell ring. Robert's little feet clapped against the tile floor as he ran to answer it.
"DADDY!!" I heard Robert's baby voice yell. I laughed and walked towards the door. I was still in my sweats, my hair was in a messy bun, and I had no makeup on. Cody picked up Robert and kissed his cheek. I leaned against the door frame, which was infront of Cody. It made me so happy to see them together. Cody's eyes met mine. His smile rubbed off to me. This was a perfect moment.
"Come in. Make your self a home." I sweetly demanded. He put Robert on the ground and took his Jacket off. He walked over to me and kissed my cheek.
"What's the plan for today?" i whispered in his ear. He smiled and pecked my lips.
"I was just thinking about staying here for the day. As a family." he smiled.
I went into the kitchen to get junk food ready for today. I put the popcorn in the microwave and watched as the bag expanded. I felt two strong, bulky arms wrapped around my waist. I turned around and wrapped my arms around Cody's neck. He put our foreheads together before he spoke.
"God I love you." he whispered.
"I love you too" I used a girlie baby voice, before he crashed his lips onto mine.
"I couldn't sleep last night because of you." he stated.
"W-what? Why?" I smiled. Just him being in my presents made fireworks go off.
"Well first because last night was amazing, and second but the most important reason is knowing that your still not mine. I want you to be mine. I need you to be mine." he whispered, his lips millimeters away from mine.
"Fine." I said, just wanting to feel his lips on mine.
"Is that a yes?" he asked. The microwave went off, but I could care less right now.
"ummm-humm" I moaned and attacked his lips. They felt so good. The way they were moving with mine. We heard a gasp and pulled away.
"Why are you hurting Mommy?' Robert asked. I looked and Cody who was dieing to laugh. I couldn't hold it in any longer.
"He wasn't sweety. He was making me..."
"Feel better?" Robert concluded. Cody and I nodded our heads at the same time.
"Let's go watch a movie. I'll let you pick it out while Mommy gets the snacks ready." Cody winked at me while he picked up Robert. I could hear Robert saying 'No, No, NO'as Cody showed him the movies. I finally got the snacks ready and walked into the small living room.
"Finally" I heard them both snicker. Father-Son moments were the best..
"Hit play boys" I said while snuggling into to Cody's chest. Robert laid across us. This was our first 'Family' moment togther. We sat as a family. I kissed Cody's cheek as we sat there. We spent the rest of the day, laughing, watching movies, playing airplanes, and sharing memories.
