Love That Fly Away

Home Again

Ryan had been there with me for one more hour but after that he started getting calls. And i can tell by his expressions that he wanted to stay with me there but his job was not allowing him that. After completing his calls he came to me and sat at the chair near my bed he held my hand in his said.

"M sorry! I have to go. I cant stay anymore."

"Its ok you can go m fine now" i replied him.

He diny said anything but looked at me.

"M not mad at you" i said breaking the silence between us.

He smiled and said "Thank you".

I smiled back at him.

"I will call you. Take care of your self" he said with concern look.

"I will. And i will wait for your call" i gave his hands a gentle squeeze.

He left my hands softly and bid me bye.

He said bye to mom and then he was gone.

Mom and me was there in the hospital room. Though mom was thankfull to Ryan for staying with us but her behaviour was little rude towards him now. I wanted to ask her but i stayed quite that time.

"So.. you were not with your college friend?" She asked looking at me.

"Ye-s" i replied hesitantly.

"What is going on between you two?" She asked.

"Ummm..nothing" i replied not looking at her.

"I have eyes Rania. I can see whats going on between you two. But i am concern about you. I dont want you to be so affected by him that you forget about youself" she said concerned.

I dint replied to that i kept my gaze to my knotted fingers.

"Ryan is a nice guy i agree. I too like him but if he will hurt my daughter i will make sure that he dont ever come near  you again" she said and anger was there in her voice.

"Mom its nothing like that. He dint hurt me. You know me how i react with small things. He never hurted me mom" i replied her now looking at her.

"Whatever it is darling i want you to be happy. Just dont let anything happen to you" she said softly.

I nodded but dint said anything.

I wanted to ask mom that who told Ryan about my accident. So i asked her.

"Mom you told him that i fell from stairs?" I asked her.

"Not exactly" she said then continued "he called me after you reached home and asked me about you that you reached home or not? I told him that you are home but dint question him furthur beacuse i wanted you to explain this to me" she gave me stare then continued "he hang up after that but he called me again after 10 minutes and asked me to give you the phone. I called you and after few minutes you fell from stairs. He was on the line so he heard everything. I got panicked and yelled Ahana to call the ambulance and forgot about Ryan. Ahana then informed Dad about it. And After getting no rply from me Ryan called Ahana and asked about the hospital. She gave him the details. So he reached here before Dad he helped me with paperworks and other stuffs. And stayed here" she completed.

"Ohhhhh" i replied her.

"Yes. Thts how its all happen and i know that you were crying upstairs because of him. Am your mom you cant hide things from me this easily" she said.

"M sorry mom" i apologise.

"Its not about sorry baby just take care of yourself and am your mom dont hide things from me" she said softly.

"Okay mom" i answered.

"Now have some sleep. I have to call Dad and Ahana. She said and left to call them.

I laid on my bed and after few minutes a nurse came and gave me my medicines. I drifted to sleep after that.

I woke up after few hours. And sleep was really helpful. I felt refreshed after that.

Hours later a nurse came and she gave me my dinner. It was some kind of tastless soup. Which i silently had because mom was there all time keeping her eyes only on me.

And thnx to my medicine i again fell asleep.

I woke up at 7 in the next morning. It was a bright sunny day.

Doctor came to visit me and she assured mom that am completely fine now. I just have to keep my bandage for few more days otherwise everything is fine.

I came home with mom and Dad. And it was wednesday. We had our train today for Mumbai. Though  there was not any problem in travelling still mom dint allowed me to go and told me to take rest. But i dint wanted to spoil Ahana's trip so i insisted mom to atleast send her. She agreed to that and Dad took her to station.

I was in the living room watching t.v when mom told me that Ryan  called me last night. Because i was asleep. She answered the call and told him that am fine.

I too wanted to go there and meet shania but.. i cant cause of the mess i created myself.

I went back to my room and lied on my bed. I closed my eyes and sight of Ryan came to mind when he said love you to me yesterday. He was not lying i can tell that but am still confused. I opened my eyes and my bags were still there in the corner of my room. I was ready to leave today for Mumbai but here i am now lying on my bed with a bandage on my head.

I wanted to spend sometime with him. I wanted to know him more. Its not only likeness now. It is more than that but am afraid to acsept what i feel for him.

Mom came in my room startling me. I looked at her and she handed me my medicines and said "Dont think alot" while caressing my cheeks.

I nodded at her and had my medicines  and i was soon asleep after that.
