Rosie's POV

"I'll be back at about er 10. Cya."

I departed my room and crossed the corridor to Harry's room.

Harry's POV

Completely dazed, I collapsed onto the couch.

My head was spinning.

Too drunk to even stand, I decided to lay back on the couch.

"Harry, come dance." Ashley said, grabbing my arms.

"I'm tired." I mumbled, my words slurred.

She didn't even care, she dragged me off the couch and forced me to dance.

Everyone else was dancing like 2 year olds.

Without a care in the world, I jumped about childishly.

Rosie's POV

Knocking on the door, I double checked I had my money.

There was no answer.

Assuming he didn't hear I knocked again.

No answer again.

I knocked for the third time.

No answer.

Giving up, I went back across the corridor.

After unlocking the door and entering, I slipped my shoes off and laid down on the sofa.

"He didn't even answer the door." I sigh.

"That's rude. Oh well we can sit and watch Titanic and think about how awful life is."

"How about we go to the cinema?"

"Sounds great."

Harry's POV

My eyes flickered open.

My head was throbbing and I felt like I was going to throw up.

Stretching, I accidentally hit into someone's arm.

I turned around and saw that Michelle was lying next to me.

We were in the same bed.

What happened?

I was dressed in only a pair of boxers.

The last thing I remembered was dancing.

Trying to think back and remember what occurred, I got out of the bed and looked around.

Michelle was sleeping and wrapped in the duvet.

There was a pile of clothes lying on the floor and I recognized the room as Liam's second spare room that I had previously slept in.

As I unlocked my phone I remembered something.

I was supposed to be back at 6 to meet Rosie.

The guilt and frustration gripped me and I felt so stupid.

I was selfish.

How could I be so selfish?

Instantly, I looked all around the room for my clothes.

As soon as I discovered them, I put then on speedily.

I grabbed my phone and checked to see if my key was in my pocket.

Sprinting out the door, I tried to guess what the time was by looking at the sky.

I then also realized I was in London and not Oxford.

Hitting myself, I couldn't believe how stupid I was.

Eventually Liam answered the door and agreed to drive me back using his car.

"I'm sorry man."

"It's my fault." I sigh, checking my phone to see if she texted me.

Rosie's POV

"Sam, can you get the door?" I ask, nearly falling over as I balance on one leg, putting my sock on.

I hear the door open.

Opening the bathroom door, I ruffle my hair.

I stop as soon as I see who is at the door.

Harry.

"Can we talk?" He asks.

Sam heads off into the kitchen.

"Fine."

We stepped out into the corridor which, appropriately, was normally empty.

I look at Harry with a bland expression on my face and he looks at me.

"I was at a party and I don't know how but I got drunk and then I woke up the next morning. As soon as I realized I came back. I'm sorry."

"It doesn't matter. Your loss, you missed out on a good film."

"Are we-"

"I don't know. It doesn't matter anyway because I'm transferring to Cambridge University. A letter came this morning, I have friends there."

His mouth opened slightly and I could tell he was shocked.

"Bu-"

"It was never really going to work. You're Harry Styles. I'm an ordinary 20 year old. I began to like you, even love, these past few days but it won't work so I'm foolish. I'm leaving tomorrow. I hope you had a good birthday. Bye Harry."

Without even looking at how he reacted, I returned to my room and closed the door.

"Want some help packing?" Sam asked.

I nodded.

Harry's POV

This was just the worst scenario possible.

The girl I loved was moving away and I had just let her down.
