Rosie's POV

Why did I think it would be okay?

I just discovered my husband cheating.

Edward placed his cutely small hands on my shoulders. I lifted him off my lap and sat him back down in the seat as the movie was starting.

"He's so cute." Harry chuckled, handing Edward the popcorn.

Throughout the movie, I became gradually happier; Edward continuously laughed so at least he was happy and because me and Harry were friends again.

I didn't feel like eating so I rejected Edward's constant offers of popcorn.

"You are coming back to my house, no argument. I don't care what Ellie says."

"Thank you, Harry."

We got into his car and headed for his house.

"Where are we going now?" Edward asked.

"To my house." Harry said.

"Where's daddy?"

"He-he er we won't be seeing him for a while." I stammer, unsure of how to really word it.

"Why?" Edward asks, his constant questions were beginning to irritate me.

"We aren't together anymore."

This was awful.

How is he suppose to understand?

The car journey was silent until we entered Harry's driveway.

"Your house is massive!" Edward said excitedly, gaping. Since Harry was affluent he wouldn't be living in a shack.

"I think you should just wait here a sec, just till I have explained." Harry advises, getting out of the car.

Harry's POV

"Ellie, I have-" I say, walking into the living room. I pause. Ellie is standing in the centre of the room with about 3 suitcases.

"Harry, I think it's best we aren't together anymore. We- we don't really love each other. Zac Efron wants me so.."

"What- What about the baby?" Completely shocked by what she had just said.

"There was never really a baby, I lied. When I went to the doctors they said I didn't so I just lied. I've got to get my taxi, so bye Harry."

Infuriated, shocked, annoyed, worried, happy, I let her past.

It was too much to comprehend so quickly.

Rosie's POV

"Who are you?" Someone asks me as I linger with Edward by the car.

Assuming it was Ellie, I say "hi Ellie, I'm er- a friend of Har-"

"I don't care." She snapped, dragging her suitcases across the driveway.

Harry came out shortly after, his face impassive.

"Where is she going?" I ask, furrowing my eyebrows at Harry.

"She- she just- told me she is leaving me and there isn-isn't a baby." He stuttered, watching Ellie turn the corner and disappear.

Placing my hand over my mouth, I look up at Harry.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry." I pull him into a hug, wrapping my arms around his waist. He placed his arms around me and rested his head on my shoulder. "I can leave if you want, if you want some space. I'm nothing but a problem."

"No, you're staying. We can watch Love Actually and cry about how useless our love lives are." He chuckled.

"That sounds great." I whisper, pulling away from him.

"C'mon Edward." Harry said, ushering him inside.

Edward skipped over to us and stopped once he was at the threshold.

"Uncle Harry, are you okay?" Edward asked.

Harry smiled at Edward and ruffled his hair.

"I'm fine, thank you."

We sat down in Harry's living room which was modern and stylish.

"I better cancel the tour I requested for some house Ellie wanted." Harry sighed, seating himself down beside me.

Awkwardly, I tapped my fingers against my left hand and sighed.

"You deserve better, Harry. She seems to be really rude and what she done was cruel. We can be single together!" I say.

"I feel so stupid. I really wanted to have a child. To be able to be a dad."

"I'm sure one day you will be and you will be the best dad ever."

"Thanks. I guess I'm an uncle now though."

Giggling, I stared down at Edward.

"What am I going to do, Harry?" I ask, resting my head in my hands.

"I'll be here for you. You can stay in the spare room. Maybe you should call him and arrange a way he can still see Edward."

I pondered on the thought and then said "thanks, I will."

Slipping my phone out my pocket, I bite my lip and look at Edward, who is gazing around idly.

I cared about Edward so much and I didn't want him to be hurt.

The phone is dialling..

Harry watched me as I called Austin.

"ROSIE! Please just hear me out." Austin shouts.

"Okay." I say plainly.

"You deserve the truth. Me and Sasha have been seeing each other for 2 years. I'm so sorry. Can I see Edward at the weekends?"

Did he just think everything could fall into place?

2 years!

I swallowed and spoke "I won't let Edward be hurt for your careless actions so yes you can. You have to send us money, he's still your son and no matter what happens that won't change."

"I know. Just please forgive me."

The phone call then ended.

"You okay?" Harry asked me.

"I'm okay."
