forever in a moment is what she gave me.
eternities flashed before my eyes, illuminated by twardy lights
an immortalized love captured in a heart's beat.
forever, however, didn't last as long as I hoped it would.
I was confused, because I kept on hearing, "we're in this forever, right?"
how did forever go by so quickly?
forever slipped through my fingers like sand, collecting on the other side of my hourglass.
who knew infinity could disappear so suddenly
I was promised a lifetime, not a time in my life.
she looked me in the eye, saying, "I'll never leave your side if you never leave mine"
and I didn't leave, so why did she?
should I have done more?
expected less?
if forever meant all the time in the world, then I should've had enough with her.
maybe we did spend forever together
or maybe
one forever in a moment was all we needed.
a/n
this was about a girl who I loved. (explains why it's broken and confusing just like the girl ahem what)
our story is sad, and I might share it with you one day if I'm ready. also, bolded words = everything that was forever related. also x2, I think I used "forever" to many times.
