1"Starter Madness"

Lida's POV

"Ugh." I said, stretching my arms while waking up. I closed the alarm I set on my X-Transceiver. A lot of people like one called "Champion B2/W2", but I think "Rival B/W" is better.

Anyway the name's Lida, but you can call me Bud. I live in the city of Aspertia.

While closing my alarm I saw that I have a new message. I went to messages and started reading it.

Dear Lida,

My name is Bianca and I'm Professor Juniper's assistant.

I'm messaging to tell you that the Professor and I have decided to give you and your neighbors; Ryan and Kevin a pokemon and a pokedex.

The reason is that you three are finally old enough to get your trainer's licence.

The meeting place is the Aspertia Outlook.

That came out of nowhere. But I'm still happy about it. I mean who wouldn't?

I told my mum the news and she told me I should get going.

I started running towards the outlook but I heard someone say "Hey Bud! Heading to the outlook already?"

It was my best fwiend Ryan.

"Yeah, I thought we started making our way after breakfast."

"I'm just surprised you got your butt out of bed so early. I mean you're the laziest girl I know."

"You know I wanna get a pokemon just as bad as you do."

"Anyways, we ought to get to the outlook before the rumors start flowing again..."

"Good point..." I agreed. Ya see, a few months ago there was a rumor that Ryan and I were dating. All we did was spending a lot of time playing video games against each other. We were alone but that's because Kevin had to study for the entrance exam to get in a fancy school for poke trainers, which he didn't pass, and Ryan and I started hanging out without him. Does a boy and a girl hanging out alone really mean that the two are dating to some dorklings?

We started racing to the outlook to enjoy ourselves a bit. I eventually got a sudden speed burst which won me the race.

"Finally! Why did you dorks take so long?" Kevin grumbled. The guy needs to stop the emo act. He has black hair and some of his hair covers his eyes. He also wears glasses which is accurate cause his a nerd.

"You two must be Lida and Ryan, it's great to formally meet you, my name's Bianca!" A girl said. She had short blonde hair, green eyes and she wore glasses. Her clothes were cute and she was wearing a big green hat. So this is Bianca, huh?

"Nice to meet ya too!" I replied

"Glad to meet you as well!" Ryan said, tipping his cap like the dorkling he is.

"N-Nice to meet you m-miss..." Kevin stuttered because Bow-tie Boy here can't talk to any girls but me, cause I'm a tomboy or something.

"First of, here's your pokedex and pokeballs."

"Thanks!" I beamed.

"Me t-too..." Kevin agreed stuttering once more.

"ME THREE!" Ryan yelled, like usual.

"These are your options..."

Kevin's POV

"These are your options..." Bianca continued.
