2"Stinger"

Lida's POV

"Hey, Bowtieboy wanna battle?" Ryan requested, teasing Kevin in the process. Annoyed, Kevin answered "Fine... As long as you stop calling me that!"

"I'M SORRY LIDA AND I ARE GREAT AT COMING UP WITH NICKNAMES GOSH!"

"Please, Rocky?" He teased Ryan with the nickname Kev and I came up with aka the best nickname in the world. "IT'S STONE NOT ROCK! If you stop calling me that I'll stop calling you Bowtieboy. Deal?"

"Deal!"

"Why am I stuck with these dorky as idiots?" I questioned myself, face-palming in the process.

"Flammo, butt kicking time!"

 "Silky, teach this rock--er I mean stone a lesson."  

Ryan growled.

"Tackle"

"Dodge and Leer"

Tepig's-er Flammo's tackle missed and Silky successfully landed a leer.

"What'll that do? Ember!"

"Uh Vine whip!" The ember set the vine whip on fire and then right back to Silky.

"Ember again!"

"Use Vine whip to dodge!" Kevin's being Kevin. Shy, nervous, self conscious but smart.

Silky used vine whip to jump above the ember. "Tackle!"

Silky tackled Flammo from above giving the tackle more power and, because of the leer, Flammo was one-shoted.

"Flammo return. Good job, Bowtieboy." Ryan teased again. "You little- Stupid Rocky..." He teased back. Ryan mumbled a few curse words.

I walked back home and introduced my mom to my new partner. She gave me a town map and told me to have fun on my journey or something along those lines.

I walked outside and got a call on my X-Transceiver.

"Hey, Lida? Can you come to Route 19 in a sec?" It was Bianca.

"Sure, I'll make my way there right now."

"Ok, bye!"

I run towards Route 19. What could Bianca want? Catching tutorial? Catching tutorial.

I was unfortunately correct so I had to watch Bianca catch a pokemon for like 10 minutes. Wait. It was exactly 15 minutes! Bianca!

After that Ry, Kev and I went on a catching frenzy.

Ryan caught a pidove he named 'Bandit' because of the starter fiasco. Kevin caught a purloin he named 'Kitty' because that's so original. I love sarcasm way to much.

I haven't seen anything that interests me yet so I'm still looking.

After a bit I heard a cute squeal. I started looking for the pokemon that squealed. 

I was looking for like 3 minutes until I saw a Sewaddle singing. It sounded amazingly.

I sent out Blade and we started the battle.

"Water gun" Blade's water gun did like half the Sewaddle's hp and then I threw a pokeball. It clicked thrice and then it clicked.

"A female Sewaddle... I think I'll call you Stinger!"

Now that's out the way I went to the pokemon center in Floccesy Town.

There I met up with the former champ, Alder. He told me to check out Floccesy ranch. I was about to when out of nowhere Kevin and Silky challenged me to a pokemon battle.

He sent out Kitty and I sent out Blade.

"Assist!"

"Water Gun!" The assist became a vine whip. Thankfully Blade thought fast and blocked it with his scallop. Then it one-shoted with water gun. I returned my partner to his pokeball and sent out Stinger.

Kevin sent out Silky.

"Wrap!"

"String shot!"

HA! He fell right into my trap! The string shot trapped Silky in a pose that doesn't allow him to move because of the wrap! In yo' face BOWTIEBOY!

After that it was simple; tackle then bug bite.

We made our way to Floccesy ranch but saw some dude with a 'Team Plasma' T-shirt. Team Plasma? That crap disbanded like 5 years ago. 

"What do you want?" The dude said.

"Who are you?" Kevin questioned.

"A Team Shock Plasma Grunt! A member of the team that will rule the world!"

We argued for a bit and then we battled.

"Blade, Razor shell! Stinger, Bug bite!"

"Silky, Leaf tornado! Kitty, Pursuit! Magma, Ember!"

Magma was a Magby he caught in the ranch.

We beat the grunt and decided to go back to Aspertia to challenge the gym.

Kev and Ry went on a training session. I was ready to challenge the gym.

Before I could even battle the gym trainers I saw the gym leader, Cheren and a brunette with blue eyes. Her hair was p in a ponytail and she was wearing a pink and white cap with a pokeball symbol. She was wearing a black sleeveless jacket, a white tank top, a pair of jean shorts and some black and pink sneakers.

"Hey, you here to challenge Cherry's gym?" She told me. 'Cherry ' I chuckled. "Yeah! My name's Lida and these are my partners Blade the Oshawott and Stinger The Sewaddle."

"Nice to meet ya, I'm Hilda and you probably know my friend here."

"Yup!"

"I'll be expecting a good battle from you three." Cheren whispered, as he walked away.

"I'll be watching you guys' battle. I hope it's worth it!" She chirped running off with a newborn Azurill in her hands.

Hello Buds! Remember when I said I wouldn't post after I got Ultra Sun. But my dad is getting it for me so i'm still waiting till night time. Also sorry this was short, I wrote it in a day.
