13"Evolution Everywhere"

Small Note: I now know that the Cold Storage no longer exists, but let's pretend the PWT was built a bit further away, OK?

Kevin's POV

I beat the Driftveil Gym Leader, Clay, with a full team. Silky (Serperior), Kitty (Liepard), Magma (Magmar), Aura (Lucario), Seashore (Swanna) and Maiden (Gothorita). I'm going for Mistralton next.

Lida's POV

After training my team, I'm finally ready for a rematch with Clay. My team has grown a lot since then!

Blade is the same, but he learned and perfected a lot of new attacks. Stinger learned X-Scissor, but beside that, she's still the same. Barkster learned flamethrower. She's still a Growlithe, but I'm planning on evolving her after I get my fifth badge. Shock-Bot, still a Magneton, learned Flash Cannon and Charge Beam. Razor remained the same, but I'm looking for a Razor Fang to evolve him soon. Jellybean has changed a lot, having evolved into a Duosion. His attacks and such improved a lot, even though I'm not planning on using her for this fight.

I walked into the gym, breezing through the puzzle again. As soon as I reached the gym leader's room, he welcomed me back. The rematch begun.

Krokorok was up first. I sent out Stinger. "X-Scissor" "Bulldoze"

One hit finished it off again. He sent out Excadrill. That was one hell of a plot twist! I switched out to Blade. "Water Pulse" "Slash"

Blade easily avoided the attack and jumped at high using the rocky environment. He formed to spheres of water from his claws that weakened and successfully confused the opposing Excardrill. "Aqua Jet" "Rock Slide"

Covered in water, Blade jumped up high and hit Excadrill with a fast aquatic tackle, fainting the ground/steel type. Yes! Next up was Sandslash. I decided on having my Dewott stay out and finish the battle. "Water Pulse" "Crush Claw"

After a final aquatic sphere, the last of the gym leader's pokemon fainted. I got my fifth gym badge, the Quake Badge, and the Technical Machine for Bulldoze.

Holly and I walked out. I had helped her catch a Mincinno she named Snowball to go along with Fairly, her newly evolved Whimsicott.

We healed our teams and walked through Route 6.

Ryan's POV

Just finishing up in Driftveil, I finished exploring Clay's Tunnel. During my that, I caught my last team member, a Druddigon I named Spikette. Bandit evolved too and that's about it.

Lida's POV

Holly walking beside me, I stopped in front of the entrance of Chargestone Cave. I sent out Barkster and took the fire stone out of my pocket. "I think it's time you evolved buddy"

She touched the stone with his paw and grew a few feet taller. He soon became an Arcanine and I let her walk next to me.

Walking through the cave, nothing special had happened yet. I'm currently battling a water type with Shock-Bot. After an Electro Ball, the opponent fainted and I won. Electricity surrounded Shock-Bot and he started evolving again.

Of course! This must be an area with the special magnetic field that lets Magneton evolve!

It became a Magnezone and I congratulated my partner. I soon returned him to his pokeball.

I kept walking with Barkster and Holly and eventually found a small fang laying on the floor. I picked it up and scanned it with my pokedex. "Razor Fang" the screen lit up. YES! I returned Barkster to his pokeball and started walking with Razor, to whom I gave the item.

I walked threw another part of the cave with Razor, who soon became a Gliscor. Holly started talking to me. "Hey Lida... If you don't mind, would you like to go our own ways after this cave? I wanna start building a team and having my own journey on my own"

"I'd like that. It's not that I don't like travelling you, but I think maybe we could both learn better travelling alone too." I smiled. "Friends?" "Friends."

Before we realized it, we reached the exit. As soon as I exited the cave, Holly and I said our goodbyes and went our separate ways.

After I healed up my team, I ran into Ryan. I explained him what happened with Holly. "Wanna battle?" He asked, to cheer me up probably. I nodded and we took position on the battlefield in the back of the pokemon center. We decided on a quick, fun one on one battle.

I used my dearest partner, Blade, and he used his number 1 partner, Flammo. After our pokemon shook hands, the battle begun. "Take Down" "Aqua Jet"

The charged up Pignite and the Dewott covered by a veil of water collided and fell back. Both started glowing brightly, growing taller and taller.

Blade, now a Samurott, was standing on all fours, shell armor covering most of his body. The armor was colored a shade of cream that was a bit dark. The rest of his body was a shade of blue as dark as the night sky. Two shell blades of the same creamy color rested on his forelegs and small shells of the same color decorated his hind legs. His belly was a mixture of light cyan and light grey. His eyes glowed a beautiful crimson color. Lastly, he had a brilliant horn of the repeated cream coloring.

Flammo, an Emboar now, was a couple of feet taller than Ryan now. He was the same fiery orange color with black, crimson and golden armor covering some parts of his body. Flames surrounded his neck. He had clean and super sharp teeth and large and menacing claws. His fists were jet black with a crimson stripe on each fist. His tail was spiked up and fluffy.

Flammo's fist was glowing a fiery red, covered in flames, resembling a Fire Punch attack. "Water Pulse" "Fire Punch"

The attacks collided, but, due to type advantage and power, Blade and I emerged victorious.

Ryan and I shook hands. "Great job Bud-Bud! Feeling any better?" He asked. "Yup, much better. Thanks for the great battle Rock-head!" "No problem! I was happy to see you and Blade battle. Both of you have improved tons!" He complimented. "Well, you and Flammo have improved yourselves!" "Heh, see you later?" "Laterr!" I chirped as he ran off.
