Dean, John, and Amy swiftly walked side by side, the cold autumn wind blowing as the sun began to set. "Sam! Sammy!" Dean hollered into the blackening sky.
"Gabriel!" Amy and John took turns yelling for the little Novak boy.
John rolled his sleeves around his fists, nervously. He felt alone without Sherlock and nervous around these two. Dean's face was red from all the yelling, the veins in his arms pulsing as he clenched his fists tighter. Amy's fiery hair blew into her face and all around, seemingly catching the sky on fire. Both looked like pure heroes. But what about me? He asked himself. John was short and unnoticeable. He sighed and called out yet again for his friends. Glancing towards his watch, John realized how late it was getting. He anxiously pawed at his own fingers as he realized Sherlock had asked him to bring Enjolras some food and he had completely forgotten. John hesitantly rubbed his neck as he said, "Guys, I have to go do something really quick..." John ran off as Dean and Amy looked after him, bewildered.
"I... don't know what to say about him..." Amy laughed, coldly.
Dean shook his head. "I don't trust 'em, Red. Don't trust him, don't trust Sherlock."

Gabriel's eyes fluttered open as he slowly groaned. His body flinched as his hands tried to move, stuck behind his back. He panicked a little as he tried to scream, to no avail, only to have a cloth muffle his every shout. He calmed a little as in his struggle his hand brushed up against a familiar one. Sam, he thought, relieved. Gabriel flinched as he heard voices. "This is a terrible, terrible idea" a voice rang throughout the room.
A second voice returned the concerned comment made by the first. "They started it, we're just returning the favor!"
"Oh what are you, six?"
Gabriel struggled a tiny bit, making a small panicked noise. Every single voice in the next room became mute, a few "Shhs" murmuring throughout the group of people outside the door. A few voices chattered as they scuffled, arguing a little before the door opened slightly. Gabriel squinted as the light threatened to blind him. Two young men stuck their heads into the small room, meeting Gabriel's terrified gaze. Both looked about the same age as Dean, one with light brown hair and a very mousy look to him, adjusting his glasses every five seconds to frame his light brown eyes, the other a little shorter with curly, rich, brown hair, his eyes a deep blue. The pair eyed Gabriel up and down and Gabriel's stomach tied in knots. His nerves were working their way through him, pounding at his sides. He felt faint. The one with the glasses gave a small, shy laugh "Hello. Sorry to have to do this to you" He smiled, warmly.
Gabriel stared at him in pure and utter disbelief. Seriously!?, he thought to himself, and his eyes must have spoke at least a thousand words because the one with the curls rolled eyes and shoved the other one, playfully "We truly are. Trust me, we didn't want to do this, but your friends forced our hand. We just want our friend back."
The one with the glasses took the cloth out of Gabriel's dry mouth. Gabriel took a second to cough before spitting a quick, "I literally have no idea what you're talking about." and screaming, "Help!"
Curls threw his hand over his mouth as he lunged forward, silencing him. "Kid! Kid! We're not going to hurt you! We're just looking for our friend" Curls calmly explained.
Gabriel licked the man's hand. He quickly pulled it back. "Ew, gross!" He yelled, wiping it on the other boy, who shoved him again.
Gabriel's hands trembled, struggling to grasp Sam's, who's hand he wanted to hold, more for comfort than anything. As he struggled, the boy with the curly brown hair spoke, "Look, kid, you're only here until we get our friend back."
"What do you mean?" Gabriel asked, warily, "What do we have to do with that?"
The mousy faced boy spoke next. Gabriel had noticed that the two moved almost in sync and spoke in alternates, one then the other, like a machine. Although, a bit of their chemistry was off, as if they were missing a piece. Gabriel curiously watched the two as the mousy boy sighed "We have information that a couple of your friends have him. we were hoping for a fair trade."
Gabriel's eyes widened "Who out of my friends would kidnap someone?"
The answer hit him almost immediately after he asked the question. Sherlock, you dolt, Gabriel thought as he struggled.
The curly haired boy laughed a little "I think you know. I'm going to kick that Sherlock Holmes' ass next time I see him!" he growled, only to be calmed by a touch on the shoulder from the other boy.
Gabriel hung his head, a little ashamed, although he didn't know why. "Well, I'm sorry about that, but that doesn't give you the right to go around kidnapping people too! What do you think, asscap, this is the only way to do it? Asking nicely would suffice too!" He told them.
The curly haired one rolled his eyes and the other spoke, "Sherlock Holmes only cares about action. Well, we took action."
"Now it's up to him to respond"

John warily approached the place where they were keeping the blonde. He slowly approached the boy, keeping his footsteps silent and taking off the blonde's gag. Enjolras licked his lips, as the gag was rather uncomfortable, and he spoke "Now what?"
"Food" John spoke, trying to disguise his voice as best as possible.
Even though he couldn't see his eyes, John was sure the boy was rolling them. "Oh, come off it, John, I know it's you and Sherlock."
John blinked, shocked for a half second, before responding in his regular voice, "Right then. I still have food if you want it."
Enjolras smirked a little, "Alright, food it is" he said with a little laugh that made John uneasy. John walked a little closer to Enjolras. as he got within feeding distance, the blonde quickly stood up on his own two legs, still attached to the chair, and slammed the chair into John, causing it to break into pieces. John stumbled backwards, hitting his head against the wall. Enjolras quickly detached his arms from the broken chair arms and untied his blindfold. John stared up at him, utterly shocked. Never in his life had he seen anyone do that. Was he some kind of secret agent or monster or something?
The blonde quickly tied back his hair into a loose ponytail. "Now," he started as he finished tying, "Take me back to campus"
