ZARIA
I smiled ng may maramdaman akong yumakap sa akin mula sa likod. I'm standing by the beach na nasa harap lang ng tinutuluyan naming, ng maramdaman ko ang paglapit ni Shadow sa akin.
It's been a really good week, full of laughter and happiness. Natutuwa ako dahil nakikita kong magkasundo ang lalaking gusto ko at mga kaibigan ko, although Isak is liking it a little bit too much.
And these last few days, nakita ko kung paano nga bang maging sweet ang isang Thorne Shadow Archibald.
"What are you doing here, alone?" He whispered against my ear, I felt him smiling and it took all my self control not to look at him and kiss him senseless.
Kasama ang pagiging sweet niya, at ang pagiging cute niya. And these last few days ganun rin ang hirap kong magpigil na halikan na lang siya basta, nakakahiya dahil ako yung babae tapos ako pa yung mas ganito mag-isip. Who can blame me though? A sweet Shadow means, a cute Shadow.
"Just wanted to have a glimpse of the sunset. Isang linggo na tayo dito pero hindi ko pa nakikita ang sunset." I explained, pouting. Growing up, my favorite part of the day is always the sunset. Lagi akong nagtatago sa mga tauhan nila papa, para umakyat sa pinakatutok ng palasyo para mapanood yun.
"I have a better place in mind. Want to see?" Tanong niya, kumunot ang noo ko at humarap sa kanya.
"At saan naman yun?" Tanong ko, smiling.
"It's a surprise. Just trust me on this." He said, before offering his hand. Nakangiti ko naming tinanggap yun.
Hinila niya ako papalayo sa tinutuluyan naming, kung hindi ko lang siya kilala malamang sumigaw na ako ng tulong Lalo na ng umabot kami sa part na puro puno na lang ang makikita mo. Pero hindi naman yung tipong nasa gubat na ang dating, it's just that wala ng mga tindahan na nakakalat.
I was about to ask him where he was taking me, ng may pumukaw ng atensyon ko mula sa malayo. At ng papalapit na kami ng papalapit, I realized what it was.
There's a walkway leading to this beautiful and romantic dinner set floating on the water.
"Oh my, how did you manage to do this?" I asked him, still amazed. Ng tingnan ko siya, nahihiya siyang ngumiti sa akin while scratching the back of his head.
"It's easy really, pero kung wala ang mga kaibigan natin dito we would have ended up at a regular restaurant. They helped me come up with this one." He then waved kaya tumingin ako sa likod ko, hindi ko man lang napansin na may terrace pala yung nag-iisang structure na nakatayo dito. And there's all our friends waving at us.
"Hindi to libre ah! Yung bayad mo wag mong kalimutan!" Sigaw ni Ivy kaya natawa na lang kaming dalawa.
"Oo na, magsi-alis na kayo!" Sigaw pabalik ni Shadow, and I really can't helped but smile. Glad at their closeness.
He looked back at me, and caught me staring at him.
"Did you like it?" Tanong niya, I nodded.
"I love it. Thank you!" I smiled sweetly and got on my tiptoes and gave him a small kiss on the cheek.
"Shall we?" He asked
"We shall"

THORNE
"Sinong nagluto?" Tanong ni Geraldine. I grimaced, remembering my experience in the kitchen when I was trying to help.
"I want to say it was me, pero hindi gumana. The cooks ended up kicking me out." She laughed, at hindi ko na ring napigilang matawa. Everytime she laughs, I can't help but laugh along with her. She's that type of person, na kayang-kayang baguhin ang mood mo sa tawa niya lang.
"Thank you for this, I really loved it." Pasalamat niya ulit, umiling lang ako.
"Anything for you." I smiled
"I just wanted to spend our last full day here with you." Pag-amin ko, bukas ng hapon uuwi na kami dahil kailangan na naming asikasuhin ang mga iniwan namin. And maybe that's why I want to spend this day to her, dahil alam kong marami na naman ang nanonood sa amin pag-uwi. And we won't get to be as free as we were here.
"I know, I just don't want this to end. But we have responsibilities too. " She smiled, sadly understanding what I was thinking.
I grabbed a hold of her hand once we finished eating.
"Just promise me one thing." I asked
"What is it?"
"Promise, that you'll stay by my side and to never leave me." I asked of her, because that's the only thing I'm afraid of right now, for me to accidentally lose her. She smiled, before squeezing my hands.
