A couple days later

      "It's Friday," Kacey says, in an enlightened mood
Kade huffed still walking
I take him like Friday but i can't blame him i can stay up longer and watch supernatural or twilight
Don't get me started on them
"Oh Nina, it's short notice norleen going I don't know why i haven't asked you but..."
I turned my head i think he likes to leave me on suspended on the promise it gets annoying
"Would you like to go to our sister birthday party tomorrow"
Kade says annoyed but i don't think it him being annoyed i think it just the way he speaks now
I nodded my head okay
"Oh norleen told you, you're coming over to my house after school right"
I nodded my head
Norleen told me this morning she going to be gone and she doesn't want me to be alone i don't know maybe it just because they haven't caught the murder
I don't mind it just Kacey and kade house
Kacey a guy i have a crush on but no Nina he'll only date you for coincidence boost you get a strange feeling when you're around him because it just a silly crush which needs to stop and it is i mean i feel more comfortable i can be myself i don't care how he sees me because i don't have a crush on him anymore

I feel a poke
I snap out of my daydream
"Your crush already is over there"
Kade says pointing to Kacey who talking to friends i assume

I look at the ground wide-eyed

"Says whatever or well write i guess i know you have a crush on him
I shake my head
Kade smirks
"The bell ringer while you're in your daydream don't be late"
I stop for a second was i really out that long

i start to run
Great i am been late my class is across the school
*bell rings*
"Oh sorry about this morning"
Kacey says walking to me as i wait for him
I turn my head

"I didn't  know you were daydreaming or else i would've to snap you out of it sooner"

I graded my notepad
I already have a lot of i don't care written
I rip one out and crumple in my pocket Kacey was already out school ground

I was about to run to catch up to him then Kacey turns a walking back
"You okay"
He says feeling my head
I nodded my head and graded the note
I took one hand and put the note in his
"Oh okay"

I gave a half smile

I wiped eye looking down
"Anyways when your birthday"
He asks

I sigh
He stops and i write September 2, 2007
"Oh so your going be 18 before me not fair"
I punch him lightly

He laughs a little
"Mine is January 17, 2008"
I nodded my head
We continue to walk as i write was birthday sister Saturday or close
I tap Kacey and he reads it still walking
"No her birthday was 2 months ago"
He says sarcastically giving me smile
I huffed at him
"So ya her birthday on Saturday, August 30"
I nod my head
I walk into Kacey  putting a hand out in front of me stopping me
I look at a house that in front of us
"We're at my house"

As the door open a little girl with strawberry blonde hair run over to Kacey yelling
"Kacee.kacee"
Till she notices me and looks at me sideways hugging me tightly
"It okay"
She says
I turn my head

Kacey clears his throat
Getting our attention
"Rosie this is Nina and Nina this is Rosie"

Rosie, it fit her she so cute she deserves a sweet name

"Hello"
She says with a smile
I wave my hand
"Kacee why she no speak"
"She can speak she doesn't want too"
"Ooh"
"you meet kady"
I turn my head
"She means kade"
I nodded my head
"Kacee better"
I give her of course face rolling my eyes nodded with a smile
I see Kacey smile
"I likes you"
She says with a smile
I bow down as a thank you
" play with me"
She says grading my hand making me run with her
I look at Kacey who smiling  following us
She pulls me into her room and set me down at a table with a tea set out the plastic tea set a stuffed elephant  sit across from me
"Please"
She hands Kacey the teapot
"Okay"
He was walking away
"That Ellie" she points to the elephant
I wave to the elephant
"Ellie likes you"
I bow
She looks at me tilting her head
Then she gets up and runs away
Uh
Didi do something
"I have to go potty"
I can hear yell in the next room
So she just has to go the restroom
Kacey come back stop looking around and sitting to right of me
"Where did Rosie go"
I graded the notepad
writing restroom
"Oh did you meet Ellie"
I nod my head
"Does she like you"
I point to the elephant confused
"Ya Ellie"
I nodded my head
"Oh Ellie doesn't like me"
I chuckle a little
"Not funny, she likes kade"
Kacey mumbles the last part and i chuckled a bit more
"Out"
Rosie says Gets in the door
She has tears in her eyes

I get up and go out
Kacey is right behind
I look at him confused
"She potty training might've not made it mad at herself"
Aww she only mad at herself
"I don't know why she gets mad at herself"
Oh i go sit on the couch
Kacey sit down next to me i grad my backpack and start to do my homework blocking anything Kacey saying i had enough Kacey for one day

An hour or so handsets itself into my work
I look up the hand arm to see Kacey looking me
"Ignoring me did I do something"
I shake my head
Tapping my work
"Oh you should take a break"
A shake my head
"Why not"
I grab an empty sheet
"Is that the last page"
I nodded my head
"Okay smarty pants"
He remembers that stupid nickname
I hit him with  my pencil
He smiled again as goes to another couch

30 minutes later
I look at Kacey sleeping
I chuckle i put my work away and graded a marker

I look around and i see Rosie
I start to put the marker away
"I help"
She says getting a marker form the couch
I nodded my head
I graded my marker and start to draw
"Done"
She said in a question
I nodded my head
She smiles
Her smile is the same as Kacey
She jumps on the couch
"Kacee Kacee"
She says poking him
"Huh... what do you want Rosie"
He says rubbing his eyes
I see the scribble lines Rosie drew and the attempt kitty whiskers and nose i drew starts slowly moving as he nows rubs his face
Rosie Starts laughing
I did to well on the inside
"What did you do Rosie"
Kacey reaches for his phone and looks at his face
All the marks we made move has his face turn into a mad face wrinkle in his forehead and the lines on the side of face near his eyes lip curling up
"You help to didn't you"
I sightly smile
He sigh
"I'll be right back"
Kacey walk away
"Kady turn"
Rosie says grading my arm
I get up and follow her
"Ssh"
She says to me
Quietly the door open slowly she drags me into his room
Curtains closed it pitch black in his room
Rosie claps
Then pause
As the lights come on

He still sleeps
I look around his room it still pretty dark book fills his shelves old book fading from the original color
A couple even look a spell book
We could continue to walk thru his plain room
As We get to kade as he sleeps
Rosie open the caps and he eyes open
"Run"
She says grading my arm
We get to the living room and a knock comes on the door
Kacey comes out half towel
Man does he have muscle
I look at the ground
Hiding my blushing
"Nina norleen here"
I wave goodbye  
"Bye bye"
Rosie says waving her hand
"Goodbye"
Kacey says as i walk by norleen
Door Closes
"So you have fun"
I nodded
"Well that good"
We walked the 2 house down back to Orleans
Was it just me but when Kacey and kade open there eyes they were a different a color both a grayer green for a second or maybe i am just seeing thing
