"Happy birthday"
Norleen yells when i walk thru the door
She throws confetti

I look at Kacey and Noah who behind me i shake my head

I know what these mean surprise birthday party

"Surprise"
Kacey says faking smiling

"It just says happy birthday so it could be for me"
Noah says

"No one would throw a surprise party"
Kacey says harsh

"Not even kade"
Noah says with a chuckles

"especially not kade"

Looking at them like weirdos
It not really Kacey that the weirdo its just Noah

"Don't worry I have a surprise for you"
Phoebe says

"Oh ya that right"
Noah says excitedly

Phoebe just nodes her

"Come in"
Norleen says

Giving her sideways looks I slowly walk in feel a bit of confetti throw at me

Making me backing into Kacey who behind me

"Sorry"
Norleen says

I wave her off
It fine

"Kade right you do two looks alike"
Norleen says

I hear Noah laugh
I go over and punch him
"Still mad"
Nodding off I walk to the couch sitting down Kacey follows me sitting next to me while I hear Noah say "my twin sister I used to talk about is Nina"

Scooting away from Kacey norleen sits on the other's couch

Kacey scoots closer than I just leave for to the other couch sitting next to norleen

Noah and Phoebe go and sit next to Kacey

footsteps coming down the stairs
I am not the only that notices these steps, everyone expects norleen seems cautious

She notices our faces and says "Kade here"

A sigh relief fills the room

"Boo"
Kades says sneaky behind Phoebe

She going into Noah's leads into arms both Noah and kade have a chuckle as Kacey shakes his head
"that wasn't nice," Phoebe says
"I thought the plan was Nina,"  Phoebe says
Saying that made Kacey turn around
I look at kade same cold stare except it's a little brighten how strong is Noah, Phoebe, and kade friendship
"You were closer"
Phoebe nodded her head

Kade goes over to sit next to between norleen and i as it the only seat but Kacey gets up and pushed Kade out the way and sits next to me
Kade shrugs and sits next to Noah right side while Phoebe on the left side of Noah

"Happy birthday Noah and Nina"
Kade says handing Noah a card

Noah opens the card as something that looks like a cake pops when the card singing "happy birthday"
Noah laughs at this

Is there something i am missing

"Here"
Kade says holding a present box
raising my eyebrow i open the box inside the box lays another notepad a bunch of pencils and pens

He could've got me nothing i just meet him but instead, he gets me a notepad
And pencil shows he doesn't know me and all he knows is i don't talk i write a thing on a notepad

I grad the notepad to write

But instead, a paper fall out did he leave the receipt to show how much he spend i grad the paper as i notice it a note

Dear Nina,
                   kacey like you which is quite funny because usually, the girls are the ones who have a crush on him but now it the opposite as now he has a crush on you and it no secret you do even though you try to hide it anyway i got a notepad because I notice you only had a couple pages left jerk move well I want to make Kacey gift seem better than mine as he sucks at gifts

I guess that does make me feel better but why does he really want Kacey gift to seem great if just a gift this crush he has on me its make me feel warm inside knowing someone likes me but i set in my mind were not going to date Kacey

Ripping out a page and write

Thank you kade but it just a silly crush that not to argue all you want but really is just a dumb silly crush

Handing kade the note
He looks at it half smirks and shrugs
"We should be heading home training or ill get in trouble'
Noah whisper to Phoebe
Seem childish or I'll get trouble
if he still at the house the last house we saw each other I can see why it  sounded like also the way he said training sounded like a burden to him
" well i have to be heading home"
Phoebe says

That not a complete lie her parent would probably want her home at some point

Short and simple while norleen "bye" was a sweet simple
Waving goodbye Kacey leaves for a second coming back with a painting of a girl silhouette she stands in the middle with an umbrella as dark clouds drop colorful raindrops

It looks nice but why
"Wall decorations"
Kacey says as kade clears his throat

I see what Kade means bad gifts it works the painting for a gift just not for me

I bow my head at Kacey who sit next to me as there now more room on the other couch next to kade

"How was school today"
Norleen ask

Giving thumbs up
"Good how was yours"

Norleen shrugs
"Normal day"

It gets quite it seems like there something they want to talk about but won't because i am here

You should come to school more
Handing it to kade
Who crippling the paper
"I should"

"Nina do  you still have the phone i lend you"
Kacey says

I nodded my head and look at him and he looks at me

"He wants you to get it"
Kade says

Oh that right why else would he mention it

I go and get the phone away for them to talk about whatever making the room uneasy

Getting the phone and coming back i am able to hear the end of there conversation

"norleen you better at this how do you control your anger"
Kacey ask

"I try and think positive all the time like kade i know you were upset and you have no control but try and think of happy moment have hope she is alive"

Peaking thru the frame of the door i see kade shake his head in a yes

"You should ask your parents instead"
Norleen says nodding her head towards my way

"You find it"
Kacey said as he now notices me

Nodding my head shaking the phone a bit

"You can keep it"
Kacey says

I nodded my head
Walking back and sitting on the other couch

"We should be going now too"
Kade says

"Alright"
Kacey says handing me a note which held his number kade's, Noah's and phoebe's

I smile waving goodbye
As Kacey say "see you tomorrow"

Once they left norleen and i had cake a small cake as she knew it only be us  norleen works at home which i found only because she started to do work while we're watching a movie end while i try to figure out when is a good time to text Kacey
