Waking up everything seems blurry as I look to my right there nothing but a white wall then I look to my left I see a blonde hair in across the room Phoebe

"Oh good you're awake"

Was I out for a long time or something

"You've only been out for a day maybe a little bit less you lost a lot of blood"

I try to nod laying on the bed but pain finds its way to my neck scorching pain I try to put my hand to the neck but the pain travels down my fingers as I remember I was the bitten

"Nina"
Kacey's voice say distracting me from the pain

Kacey, I want to get up from the bed and hug him but the pain in my neck reminds me not too

Kacey stand beside me blocking my view of Phoebe as my vision is adjusting to normal

He stands there starting me

Kiss me I say my head
I would if I could

He blinks looking me wondering what I am thinking

"I just want to check on you "
He says then walks away

I sigh

"He's Awkward when its come to you"
Phoebe says

Nodding my head
That he is

I stayed in the bed the next couple days
Phoebe went back home yesterday so I've been alone in my imagination my bite heal I've just been staying in the bed cuz the pain is still there

Kacey opens the door

"Norleen is busy"
He says walking over to me

"Unless you want to put the cream or you can yourself"
He says holding the creme in front of his myself

I smile and i try to point to him

"Ya sure"

I keep my hand still"okay"

He pulls off the bandage
Looking into my eyes
Looking at scar the vampire left on my neck

He frowns looking at the bite
He rubs the bite with her thumb licks his thumb then runs it again like it makeup

"I thought you could handle it yourself"
Hey says disappointed himself
" but I guess I was wrong wasn't I
You're in a pain there's nothing I can do to stop it"

I point to my notepad
" you sure"
I ignore him lifting myself up and reaching for the pencil and he got the notepads for me

With the messy handwriting I have, I wrote
Kacey don't blame yourself it's my fault I went into a vampire house without a plan or even training behinds me this pain I have now taught me a lesson this will be my reminder to listen to you this a pian I'll never forget it not listening but not to be so stubborn have patience so don't blame yourself for this

"Are you sure"

I throw the pad at him

"Okay, need any pillow fluffing or anything"

"No"
I say

I hear a knock at the door looking at door Kacey does too

Kacey walks over opening up the door
Kade Vanessa and Noah fall as the door opens has Phoebe stands behind them shaking her head

I haven't seen them all week except Phoebe

"How you doing Nina"
Noah ask

Kacey looks around for the pad and gives to me he picks me up moving me to the other side of the bed then he sits next to me

I rip out a good page trying to throw at Noah he picks up

I look at Vanessa who stands next to kade hugging him she missed him
I haven't meet Vanessa and she hasn't met me I know she been staying in the room I was staying at in norleen's house so her room and they moved my stuff

She whispers something in kade ear then they walk away I have a feeling she doesn't like me

They turn around walking out the room Vanessa 8 month pregnancy bump away as she walks off

" she a bit Judgmental and surprisingly or not she tabs colder then kade"
Kacey says

I lean towards him cuddling in this arms while he cuddles back

Noah was about to say something but Rosie cone appears in the door yelling "Nina Nina have you meet Nessie"

I shake my head not really I just saw her thought

" Nessie second favorite "

" who's your favorite"
Noah says cockily

"Mika like Phoebe"
She says while Mika does hide behind Phoebe

I then feel the bed move as Rosie climbs up the bed

She says to Kacey or maybe both of us

" well ya"
Kacey says " I am a mom"

"I mommy too"

" she calls me her little beta although she used to call kade he little alpha "

Rosie looks at his sideways

"I am still her favorite"
Kacey says

Rosie says "I am"

I look at Noah thinking of time him and I find how was mom favorite and who was the dad I was my dad while Noah was my mom's favorite

Mika let's go of Phoebe walking out the room as she can't compare and Phoebe she only child I believe If memory serves me right

Rosie laughs "but Mika my friend"

"She can still be mom's favorite"

Rosie nods not understanding

Kacey nods his head

Rosie looks at me then gets off the bed running to find Mika
how I know she was left for Mika because she yelled "Mika Mika"

"Well we should let you rest"
Phoebe says grading Noah wrist while they walk out closing the door and Turing off the light why they have to turn off the light

I lay down and I feel Kacey lay down I cuddle into him falling asleep felling him kiss my head whispering " Nina please don't anything stupid again I never want you to lose you I always want to be by your side your side I love you smarty pants"
