chapter 10

Nina pov

I lay in bed slowly waking up as the alarm clock goes off
I turnover hitting the alarm want me, to be honest, I didn't sleep last night Kacey, kade, and Rosie stayed another night Sunday I was stuck babysitting Rosie again which I don't mind she quite entertaining it just kinda proves there still something they're not telling me
Slowly I go to the closet getting a pair black of legging getting a purple shirt sipping on a black and white high top converse

Grab my backpack heading to the bathroom I look at myself and yawn branding then brushing my teeth

"Good morning"
Kacey says as I see him appear in the mirror

I stand there as my mouth gaped open
Why because he naked expect a towel covering his lower body

Quickly I walk back to my room
What I saw is normal it was nothing I haven't seen I've seen his shirtless this time he also didn't have pants a towel was his cover

Shaking my head

I go the stairs as I see Rosie staring at the stairs with a pink bunny nightgown her short strawberry blonde hair is lighter as it shines in the morning sun till she noticed I am there where she puts her lips to her mouth then starts hopping down them

I waited till she went over to the kitchen every I checked to make sure no one was there where I sat down and slid down the stairs

I get to the kitchen where The t.v. in was off Norleen was making eggs as Rosie sat the kitchen table coloring a paper and kade goes into the dining room

I go to the kitchen table and sit next to Rosie who focused on coloring
It may not be in the lines and the colors seem more of a scribble then actually coloring

Her hair gets pulled back i look up at the hands and see norleen standing there putting her hair in a ponytail

"Good Morning"
Norleen says

I wave at her

"I made some eggs want any"

I nod my head

She leaves then come backhanding Rosie and i plate

Norleen takes the coloring book as a line of red crayon makes it way along the paper but it doesn't stand out

Rosie shrugs then start to try to eat the eggs out the bowl

Once I am finished with my eggs I wash my plate in the dining room i can hear Kaley kade and norleen talking

Kacey: if we're not going to school who going to watch over Nina

Kade: why don't you go I'll help mom and dad finished

Norleen: what about that one friend of yours Noah I think

Kade: that true we call up Noah

Kacey: Noah I...

Kade: will stop this feud with him you know norleen right Noah the best option we have this moment

Kacey: fine call Noah

I head a chair move so i quickly walk over to Rosie

I want to ask her who Noah to see who she know who this Noah person
But wag before I can get comfortable to ask Kacey cames into the kitchen

"Hello"
He says

I wave

"Kade and i aren't going to school and we'll with the killer still out there
Norleen doesn't think you'll be protected yourself so um kade friend going to take you to school and back if that alright"

I nodded my head and get my notepad to ask who Noah is
Kacey answers

"Noah a jerk on my opinion plays girl
Acts cocky if he seems secretive that because he is and if you wondering why we picked him we trust him well  norleen and made him the most and he a damn of a fighter"
As he mumbles especially "since he a half-breed"

I look at his side he rubs his neck "I meant half-breed of a jerk"

I slightly smile

"Oh he has a car so at least you don't have to walk"

I roll my eyes  
Like i ever complained about walking to and from school

"He'll be in a minute"
Kade yells

I nodded my head
Kacey reads my notepad and writes a number
"That my number if you every scared just call don't say anything just call"
As he hands me a phone

I nod my head I wish I could say
Chill

*honk*

"See what i mean has no care about out feeling"
Kacey say as we walk through the front door

Kacey walk me to the car

"Unlock the door"
Kacey yells as he tries to open the door

The door finally open as I see the side of Noah's face and his light brown hair I can't see his eyes because he wearing sunglasses

Kacey goes to speak but Noah says
"Ya i know she yours"

I wish
Shake head
I mean i don't Kacey just a friend and that I'll ever be as we said before Nina he just going to boost convinced he only sees as a younger sister and forever only ever will
I shake the voice as I look at Kacey

Kacey already looks frustrated
"That what i am was going to say..."

"Aah yes I knew what you want to protect her all day making sure no one touches her is want anything or need anything I should help blah blah i already got it"
Noah says this still looking face forward

"Alright, oh um Nina I'll you tomorrow  kade Rosie and i are all going back are house today"

I nodded my head
He does treat me like a little sister

Kacey closes the door and I watch him walk back into the house as I turn around i see Noah look my way
Sticking his hand out

I look at his hand the back to face to fully study it

"They didn't tell your name"

I grabbed my notepad and write
Pointing to front cover that says
Nina Renee bale

Even though the sunglasses he looks shocked "Alright Nina i am Noah"
He says fixing his glasses looking  forward driving to school

Why do I have a feeling like this isn't the first time i meet  Noah
