I run down the stairs to the kitchen where Kacey sits walking the tv eat cereal I go over him and hopping in once place up and down

"Why you hyper"

"Ha.....llo....ween...halloween"

"Oh ya it is"
He says like Halloween boring

I run up the stairs and a costume Norleen and I picked a joked

I put on a long black velvet dress fake teeth and head to the bathroom putting on fake blood dripping from my mouth

I run back stairs and Kade is making something on the stove

He turns his head and walks over to me flicks my heads

"Kacey I think your mate crazy"

Crazy I take he doesn't like it

Kacey turns around spitting it his cereal laughing

"Why you one of those freaks"
He says

I walk slowly back up the stairs laughing at myself and got what norleen said was an appropriate option

Red riding hood

I go to the bathroom and see the red mark for when Kade flinched my forehead

Rubbing my forehead then cleaning off the fake blood

But sending a picture to Noah and Phoebe

I put on the red riding hood costume and hopping down the stairs

"That way better," Kacey says

Kade pats my head
"Ready for school"
He also asks

I nod

"Or would skip it"

I look at Kacey who looks blankly at me

"Sk...ip..skip"

"You hear her"
Kade says to Kacey who gets up

"Let's go then"

Was this the answer they want me to say

We walk over to their house kade went over to parents room to tell him were taking Rosie all day to do a couple of errands

Kacey and i go into Rosie room who curled in a ball hugging her stuffed elephant Ellie on her bed sound asleep

"Rosie"
Kacey says gently
Repeats himself till Rosie stretching keeping her legs in a ball position
Rubbing her head with one hand

" Kacee"

"You know what today is"

She lifts her underbody up and shakes her head

"Halloween"

She looks scared and then hides under a blanket
"Monster day"

Kacey unwraps the blank from Rosie "are mom and dad says Halloween bad since we're werewolf we know what really hides on the Halloween so don't celebrate and as Rosie knows"

"Monsters night"
She says hugging Kacey
"Where Kady"

"Telling mommy and daddy something"

I guess i should've expected this form what Kacey been telling me a bit at a time

My phones buzz Phoebe text why would dress up as those freaks for one and two good jobs on the makeup

My brother sent a laughing emoji and said dont let Kade see you like that you're lucky your Kacey mate
