Into The Land

In passing the test team seven began their journey. By began we actually mean, let the fighting begin. Naruto and Sasuke were often at neck and neck. So there goes teamwork.

Kurami picked up the run away cat after finding it before the others could get into position. "Sakura point B"
"Sasuke point C"
"Kurami successful capture."
"Naruto point. Wait what?!"
Everyone flinched at his yell and walked out of hiding. They confirmed the identity before heading to the Hokage where Naruto just stared complaining to the Hokage about their missions. Kurami stared at the floor drowning everyone out as she began to think of the past. Though she was broken out of her trance when a hand was waved in her face. She blinked a few times processing everything and looked around seeing a new person in the room. "Who are you?" Everyone dramatically fell and the Hokage explained the mission to her. She nodded in agreement and walked out.

They all met up at the gate and left for their new adventure. Naruto bounced around excitedly while Kurami looked out at the woods sadly. Sakura rose an eyebrow at Sasuke. "Sasuke-kun. Why are you constantly watching her every move? She is a leaf shinobi and an Uchiha. Do you think she's some traitor or something?" Sasuke scoffed at Sakura. "No. Don't worry about it." Naruto ran up to Kurami and threw his arm around her shoulders. "Kurami! Cheer up! We'll get back to the leaf!" She turned and smiled at him. "Yes I know Naruto." Her smile faltered as she looked ahead. Naruto frowned at her and slid his arm off her shoulders.

The tense mood was quickly killed when chains were heard flying and everyone turned to see Kakashi get torn in half. Kurami's eyes widened a bit but she instantly got into a defensive stance. She ran at the ninja running at her and Naruto. Sliding to a slight stop she jumped up and swung her foot kicking the ninja in the head sending him flying. Though as he had her a bit distracted the other ran past her. Her eyes widened and she turned to go stop them but Sasuke beat her to it. She ran to Sakura standing in front of her as the ninja she had kick ran towards Tazuna and Sakura. Kakashi took this as his moment to show up and grab both ninjas. "Sorry I didn't jump in to help you Naruto. I didn't think you would freeze up like that. Good job Sasuke. Kurami." The two nodded to him and Sakura dropped her head. "Oh yes, you too Sakura." She instantly perked up with a smile. Naruto got frustrated and Sasuke smirked at him. "You're not hurt are ya? Scaredy cat." Kurami smacked Sasuke in the back of the head causing him to put his hands behind his head in pain. "What did you do that for?!" She glared at him. "Don't taunt Naruto. This is his first actual mission after all. He's never experienced such extremes before." Sasuke frowned at her. "Besides. Everyone reacts differently their first time." She frowned looking away as did Sasuke. Kakashi sweat dropped at the two before tying up the rouge ninja and turning to Tazuna for interrogation. Kurami looked at Naruto noticing the cut on his hand and walked over to him grabbing his hand. Naruto blushed at the action but began to panic at her frown. "What is it Kurami?! Am I going to be alright?!" She smiled a small smile at him giggling softly. "Of course you are dummy. I'll extract the poison, so stand still." She moved her other hand over the wound and her hand began to glow a violet color as the purple substance seeped out of the wound into a ball of liquid. Naruto watched in awe as did the other two Genin. "That's so cool! That looks like highly skilled medical Ninjutsu! Who taught you?!" Kurami's eyes widened realizing her slip up. She quickly moved her hand to the side releasing the ball of liquid letting it splatter onto the ground. She turned towards the others smiling a little nervously. "Well, I had a great teacher as I grew up." Sasuke looked at her confused. Naruto began cheering about how great she was and began jumping around. Kakashi spoke up after watching the exchange. "Well, let's continue on seeing as Naruto is doing just fine." Everyone nodded and Naruto grabbed Kurami's hand. "Come on Kurami! Let's beat the others there!" She was dragged with a look of panic. "Do you even know where you're going Naruto!?" She yelled at him. He instantly stopped and she ran into him falling back. He stood lost in thought. Sasuke walked over helping Kurami up mumbling, "Idiot" Under his breath. Kurami sighed at them.
