Final Fight

They headed out to the bridge to be met by fallen workers. Tazuna ran over to them to check on them when a heavy mist began to fall in. "Tazuna come back!" Kurami ran out to him as her demand was unheard. A sound of chuckling grew louder as the source grew nearer. "Haku." That was said. It was the only word that was needed to be said. Kurami shoved Tazuna back pulling out a kuni blocking Haku's senbon. "You've gotten faster, or have you started to finally open up?" She turned her gaze to glare at Zabuza as he stepped into view. Kakashi sent Sasuke who spent no hesitation. Haku jumped back dodging Sasuke's attack with followed attacks. "Your student is fast. Though I would expect nothing less from the girl." Kakashi narrowed his eye at Zabuza thinking he was onto something. Zabuza turned to Sasuke. "Haku, at this point we'll be defeated. Pick it up." The boy nodded. "Your right Sensei." Kurami glared at Haku making a quick dash at him as he began making fast hand signs with his one hand. She skid to a stop as Haku surrounded them in mirrors just as she had reached them. Kurami quickly stopped and looked around. She glared at Haku who walked backwards into a mirror. "Sasuke, whatever happens. Don't let your guard down." Sasuke got back to back with her. "Tch, as if I would." Haku sent a raid of senbon at them and Kurami tried to block them with her kuni. "Are you alright Sasuke?" She could hear his pants after the shower of senbon. "Worry about yourself right now." She scowled and turned looking at him but her eyes widened seeing the senbon in him. "Idiot. Find a way to evade them! Don't unse yourself!" He glared at her. "Hat do you think I'm trying to do?! Become skewered meat!?" She glared but turned back around ignoring him.she prepared for the next raid but was mistaken when a senbon hit the kuni out of her hand. She gasped and fell forward as they rained on her. Sasuke turned towards her with wide eyes after the barrage of senbon. "Kurami!" She lifted herself up resisting his help. "Forget it Sasuke. We need to come up with a plan. We need to use Ninjutsu or something. We can't just stand here and be on defense." Sasuke nodded in agreement. Sasuke began making hand signs and cast a fire ball. However the jutsu was useless against the mirrors. "You're going to need more heat than that if you want to get through this Ice." Haku taunted him. Kakashi began praising everyone which at that point Naruto showed up. Kurami smiled coming up with a plan Naruto could help them with from the outside. "Hey, I snook in here so I could help you guys." Sasuke looked at him with wide eyes like he was an idiot. Kurami glared at him with rage and punched him in the back of the head. "You idiot! You should have!" Sasuke cut her off before she could finish her sentence. "Forget it Kurami." Naruto looked at them with irritation. "What was that for!? I just came to help!" Haku hummed. "It seems you've just put yourself in a worse situation." A kuni went flying towards them but was knocked off course by Haku. Haku asked to deal with the three in his own way and was given permission by Zabuza. Thus the beginning of the rain of senbon. After a few raids Kurami panted hard from her body taking a toll from the pain. She looked over at Naruto and Sasuke before looking at Haku in the mirrors. Realization hit her and she ran over to Sasuke and Naruto activating her Mangekyo Sharingan. It was almost like moving in slow motion. Sasuke moved in front of Naruto who was on the ground. Haku threw senbon at them and only a few hit Sasuke before Kurami got in front of him and took a few as well. However a lavender colored skeleton like figure formed around the three blocking the rest of them. She panted as she stood glaring at Haku. The skeletal figure used a sword that formed in it's right hand and swung horizontally shattering every mirror in it's path. Haku jumped out of the way sliding back as he watched the figure with slight terror. Sakura was terrified as all she saw was the figure that had just manifested. She cried out to Kakashi. "Kakashi-Sensei!  There's something wrong!" The two men stopped their fight to look over and Kakashi's eyes widened. "It can't be." Zabuza was confused. "What in the world?"

Kurami looked over at Naruto seeing the chakra taking over him and frowned recognizing the nine tails chakra. She let the skeletal figure fade and she stumbled trying to catch herself. Weak from chakra loss, and the toll from the jutsu she had just used. She let her eyes go back to their onyx color as to not show anyone the Mangekyo. Sasuke walked fast but weak himself over to her. Though when he caught her they both fell. She landed on his chest but rolled off him onto her back. She let darkness consum her as she looked at the sky. Not noticing Sasuke caressing her wrist.

-Little Jump-

Kurami woke to being on Sasuke's back as they were on their way back to the village. "Where are we going?" Kakashi looked down at her and smiled. "Back to the village. We've completed the mission." She nodded and looked to the side seeing Sasuke and giggled softly. "You can put me down now Sasuke." His cheeks flushed and he gently set her on her feet. "Hey Kurami. Why were you out for so long? I mean yeah you were injured again and had chakra loss, but even when Kakashi-Sensei suffered those he was up the next day." Kurami frowned at Sakura's question. She knew it more than likely had something to do with the jutsu her younger brother cast on her, so when she's forced into sleep she sleeps for long periods of time. However she just gave Sakura a simple answer. "I don't know."

Once they reached the village groans of relief went around. Kurami threw her hands in the air. "Bed! Freedom!" Everyone watched her like she was crazy. Sakura walked over to Sasuke passing off Kurami's wild personality. Just as she was asking him out he brushed her off and walked over to Kurami. Naruto offered but was quickly turned down. He brushed it off as well and ran after the Uchiha duo.
